Tugzee is great for playing tug with one or more dogs & is long enough to keep your fingers out of the way when you pal(s) get excited. The most durable tug toy we've had. However, we don't let it sit around to be chewed on (Nylabones are the only things that survive that in our house). It's great that our Tugzee purchase also supports a great cause - giving employment to impoverished women in Nepal.

I wouldn't recommend this product for a dog that likes to try and remove squeekers from toys as the wool that is on this product shreds up and gets all over the floor. Also, the product is too long. This particular product was a waste of money for me as I couldn't return it once I opened the package to look at the product, so I was stuck with it and now I won't use it because my dog will pull all the wool off of it and make a mess.

Dogs really like the toy but don't buy if you can't stand seeing it get slowly destroyed. it will take a while but the tassles are such that it seems to invite the dogs to pull them off.

This is a great tug toy especially for larger dogs as it allows plenty of holding room and does not fray like the rope tugs.

I bought this for my dogs on others' recommendations that it is durable, but it's not. The "head" was ripped open the first day and all the stuffing was pulled out. Many of the little fringe pieces on the top were quickly ripped out. The wool is pulled off easily by doggy teeth so they can eat (or attempt to eat) it. The dogs did tug with it some and it seems like it would be a fun toy, but it just comes apart too easily. We've had ours for 3 weeks and it's already destroyed.

Oh boy, my husky loves this toy. I bought it because other reviewers said it was a durable toy, and my dog loves to tug. It wasn't cheap, but I went for it because I love supporting fair trade around the world, and it was also an eco-friendly dog toy.

I'm so happy I bought this toy. My husky (and my chihuahua) both loved it instantly. It withstands lots of tugging and toying and chasing. I think my husky is living the dream of wrestling with a snake! It's big enough that he can play with it, and still manageable for my chihuahua.

However, I wouldn't recommend it for a chew toy. Both dogs will just pull and tear at the wool and shred it to pieces. It's a fun interactive play toy, but I would never leave my dog unattended with it, just because I don't want either of them to shred it to bits (which honestly would take a while!).

HIGHLY recommended toy!

I was amazed at how durable this toy is. When I opened the package I saw the tugzee and thought my pup wont know what the heck to do with it but boy was I wrong. It is her all time favorite tug toy. She plays with it like a cat plays with string. She chases it, catches it and tugs away. Mind you she is a 55 lb puppy dog. The only problem is that the little dangle like strips at the end/head are easily torn off, other than that it is very tough and should last a long time. I do not recommend it as a chew toy though.

When I first opened the bag I wasn't sure if my dog would like it. I need not have worried. She loves it! BG is a shih tzu, border collie mix (we think) and weighs 23 lbs. I thought this toy would be too big for her but she has no problems with it. We play tug, and BG and her best pal Fisher (Scottie) have fun trying to gain control of the ball end. The large size enables me to play with several dogs at once without risking any fingers. So far there has been no damage to the toy that I can see. I recommend it highly.

My Pap loves to play tug with me & this toy. Then the Dobe joins in & she & the Pap devise their own tug game. I use it in agility to show the Pap where he should go, i.e. a sharp turn. Every dog on the sidelines wants to join in the game.
