This licorice tincture is an extract of a single herb (licorice root), it is not a blend. Licorice is primarily used as an antiinflamatory, and is thought to be especially effective in the gut for issues such as IBD or ulcerations.
Dosages:Dogs: 20-40 drops (.5mL-1mL) once to twice dailyCats: 10-20 drops (.25mL-.5mL) once to twice dailySquirt directly into mouth or serve on food.
Ingredients: Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) in a base of pure vegetable glycerin, distilled water. Alcohol free.
Please keep in mind that response to supplements varies by individual. If your pets symptoms worsen or change in any way that concerns you, discontinue use of any supplements and contact your veterinarian.
When introducing any new supplement, it is wise to start with a lower than recommended dose and build up over the course of several days to a week. Only introduce one supplement at a time.
