I've offered several dry food brands to my two 5 month old kittens, and they eat this food in between their wet food -- as in 2 bites of wet food, one bite of dry food, back and forth! I mixed it with Blue Buffalo dried food and they picked out the California and left the Blue. I really like the simple ingredients.

The bottom line here is that our cat likes it! He ate very little of the previous dry selections we have given him, while eating all the wet we could provide. But once he got the taste of California Natural Chicken and Brown Rice, the dry food goes as fast as the wet and there is not a 'stray' kibble anywhere. Previously he would sort through his dry food and push much of it out of his bowl.

I like the star shape of the kibbles. They are a little larger than other brands and my cats prefer it. I mix it with Innova and that is what is left last in the bowl.

California Natural is one of the best out there. I alternate between this and Wellness to give my cat a variety. Since I feed wet and dry, I'd like to see a smaller bag available, but would still give this product raves. My cat loves it. It is a nice size and easy to eat.

I started feeding this cat food to my 6 cats, one of which is 16 years old, about 4 weeks ago. I had previously had a lot of problems with the older cat throwing up. It stopped almost immediately upon feeding them the chicken/brown rice food. His energy level seems to have increased as well, and he seems more mobile. All 6 cats like it and it seems to keep well once opened. I am really happy that I tried this cat food and I won't go back to the more readily available commercial brands that I was using before.
I do have one special needs cat who is in early stage renal failure. I had been feeding her special food and won't know the result of the change of food on her until I have her blood tested.

We have been using this Amazing product for a number of years now and would never think of changing. Our 3 babies are resuce kitties from diferent situations and have been eating this food, mixed with EVO Grain Free, since coming to live with us and the improvement we have seen in their coats and overall health has been nothing short of miraculous! To top it off, we were not affected by the recent pet food scare, which was truly a blessing.

I have been rescuing and fostering cats and kittens for over 10 years. My rescue group gets Science Diet for free, [...] I could feed my kitties SD, and pay absolutely nothing. I choose to feed Cal Nat because it is a superior food. A couple of years ago I had kittens with digestive problems, and was searching for a food with the least ingredients. I found Cal Nat, and have used it ever since. All of the kitties love it, and they really love the wet version as well. Make sure you feed them canned as well, to avoid urinary tract issues, as well as other health issues associated with only feeding dry food.

For a cat with allergies, this was a godsend! Also, it doesn't have the fish that a lot of cats are allergic to. She eats it well, no digestive problems. It is worth the money and I highly recommend it!

All of my cats throw up their food occasionally - not hairballs, but undigested food. This is the only food so far that they keep down.

I have three cats, two of which have medical conditions- IBS & asthma, respectively. I noticed a marked improvement with Liz (IBS), and Luna (asthma) no longer relies on prescription steriods to control her condition. Even better, all three cats absolutely love the taste.
