By diversifying a small portion of  carbohydrate structure they've actually lowered all carbohydrates, and increased overall meat content. You will find the main source of real meat protein listed on the label of every bag of CANIDAE All Natural Dog Food. The new formulations continue to reflect the most recent advances in pet nutrition. In addition to brown rice, they've diversified the complex carbohydrates in the formulas to include cracked pearl barley, rice bran, peas and millet for added flavor, nutritional value and easier digestion. These improvements to CANIDAE All Natural Dog Food have only been made after extensive formulation, nutrient and palatability testing.
