Tommy Tune and Lola Lovely adore these!!! Only drawback is, after awhile is breaks up and turns from flakes to a "dusty" consistency. Then they don't find it as appealing.

It seems very expensive. These are the only 2 negatives re the product.

one of my cats LOVES these flakes of dried bonito, she could eat the whole tub if given... I think this is a very healthy treat, and I love that they contain Taurine naturally, one of the problems with freeze dried food and other natural foods, is that they don't contain Taurine which is added to canned or dry food and so necessary for the cats bodies, so I like that this one contains Taurine already

I ordered Bonita Flakes for a cat that has been at the local shelter I volunteer at. She went into severe upper resperatory distress and would not eat. These flakes helped her regain her appetite and continue to help during her recovery. I sprinkle about a teaspoon on her food and she eats it all up. Her eyes are clearing and she is on the mend. Thank you for offering something so great as this.

From the moment I bring the box of Bonito Flakes into my house, my cats spring to attention that their favorite treat of all time is here, and time to help mom open the box. When it's opened, my white half Persian/Himalayan, gets into the box withe the containers, and can't wait to eat them!! The flakes do help with hair balls also, because when I get out of them, they have hair balls; when I have them, they don't. So they serve as a multi-faceted treat, an added bonus!!! My cats are crazy over them!!!! There is no negative to this product!!
