This is good for a medium size dog, but my daughter's dog, a goldendoodle took a liking to it, and it doesn't look as theough it will last very long. He is already chewing it apart....but he does love it, I must say!

My dog loved it...a bit too much. Within the first day she had the head torn open and was pulling all the stuffing out. My dog is a three month old Swissy. It's best for dogs that don't chew much.

We got our dog as a 5 year old doberman who didn't know how to play, so I am not giving up on the toy because the other toys are shredded within days. Maybe washing it will soften it up for her.

We bought the raccoon for our large retriever, who is really good at destroying most "soft" toys. We use the toy mainly for tug and indoor play, but it also works great for fetch. We have had the toy for about a month, and it is still intact. Most soft toys do not last longer than a week in our house, so this toy seems to be tough enough to stand up to our chewer. Our dog seems to prefer his raccoon and most often chooses it over all the others, although this may be because it is the newest toy. (He has a lot of toys.) We use it for indoor play only since keeping it from going outside may help it to last longer. Although I'm sure our dog will eventually destroy this toy (never has there been a toy that has remained intact a full year), it has held up very well considering all the rough play it gets.

Our dog instantly loved it and carries it around everywhere! He is very rough on toys and this one still looks new! It also is fun for our puppy.

Within 10 minutes, Swayze had torn the head off and scattered the stuffing all over the family room. Within 20 more minutes, she completely shredded and ate the head. She still plays with the legs, but we have to supervise so that she doesn't swallow the squeeky toys in the legs. I would not buy this again.
