I have 2 Miniature Schnauzer's, 10 year old male, 5 year old female. My male schnauzer has had allergies since he was about 4 years old. Inhalant allergies. I went through testing, did the allergy shots, benadryl, prednisone, antibiotics for staph, itchy ears, paws, you name it. After a couple of years of trying everything, and lots of money, I started reading and learning more. I went off all allergy shots and medications, have been off for years. Reason: Dr. Harvey. Changed my food, use Dr. Harveys, added CoQ10, Health & Shine, and now this wonderful shampoo!!! Dogs with allergies tend to have at times sweaty/oily feeling skin, have a slight odor at times, clogged pores - like tiny blackheads. Keeping an allergy dog clean is VERY important. It keeps their pores open and breathing, keeps staph from forming, and keeps allergens off their skin. I bathe mine about every 5 days. Have used other shampoos, Leciderm, which is good also, but not as good as this. Smells great, cleans beautifully, degreases, unclogs pores. He absolutely loves his baths! Gets jealous when his sister is getting one. He runs around a like a pup, feeling great and handsome. If you have an allergy prone dog, EDUCATE yourself. You will enhance the quality and health of your pet. Health is everything, and my pets are so worth it!!!

I bought this because my dog occasionally has sensitive skin. My groomer used it for my dog's last bath, and his coat definitely felt very soft. I did find that it left an odd odor on my dog. It's faint, but it was something I noticed.

I have had Andy (Shih Tzu) for 14 years. At around 5 yrs of age he gradually developed skin alergies. This is the first in all those years that doesn't create irritation. Normally he will chew himself up after a bath. He was bathed two days ago and I have seen no itching since then. I will use this on all my dogs. Wonderful product!

I am so happy that Dr Harvey finally has shampoos and sprays that contain NON of the chemicals in other products. I have used Dr. Harvey's foods and treats for years and I trust their all there products. We love this shampoo. I hate exposing my dogs to chemicals of any kind and this shampoo with all the herbs smells terrific. It is really very different. I highly recommend this.
