Description

Evanger's pet food is made using the highest in quality, human-grade ingredients, with no additives, preservatives, artificial colors, by-products or salt. Evangers makes every effort to source all of their ingredients locally and they can these fresh ingredients at their own plant in Wheeling, Illinois. All of their foods have also been approved by the Chicago Rabbinical Council as Kosher and is suitable for kosher events and homes.

Evanger's Organic Canned Food is currently available in two flavors:

100% Organic Cooked Chicken: A whole dressed organic chicken simmered in natural well water is a wonderful healthy supplement.
Organic Turkey with Potato & Carrots Dinner: Organic turkey with organic market-fresh vegetables create a wholesome dinner.

Since 1935, Evanger's Dog & Cat Food Company, Inc. has been the finest natural dog food company in the United States. my small dogs are seniors & I feel good about feeding them this food because it is all organic products. they love the taste. i wish the cans were half the size, but i keep the opened can in the frig with a lid. I rotate this food with canned chicken.

I have seven cats -- few showed interest. The site says it is for cats and dogs (although the label just says "dogs"), but my cats just didn't care for it. So I donated most of the case to a lady who fosters unwanted dogs until she can find a home for them.

You indicated that this is for cats also and I liked that it was 100% organic. I have a few indoor cats with special dietary needs and using this product seems to unify and simplify the varied veterinary recomended diets for each of them which is a challenge in a multi cat household. One of my indoor cats who will not eat any other wet cat food will eat this food and even looks forward to it daily. With this product I am confident that all of the cats are geting a more balanced and complete diet.

the last five years, I have been cooking homecooked dog food, and my dog Luis suddenly decided that he was burnt out with it all. I became overwhelmed because it was hard to figure out what to feed him, and I tried many other receips to no avail. I heard about Evanger's, and purchased several cans. It took over two weeks, to get him use to it, and now he eats about 1/2 can a day. I can't get him to eat any kibbles/dry food. Would you advice me to mix brown rice with the Cooked Chicken? Or what other foods could, I introduce my Luis to. He is now six years old, and as stuborn as a muel. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Just organic chicken, nothing else but water so it's not a complete diet. Used as a little topping for non-grain kibbles (Evanger's is superior and very tasty) it can't be beat. The aroma is heavenly...if I run short in the pantry, who knows what might be on Mom and Dad's plates one night:-)
