This is the fine ground catnip, in a large bag. One cat tried to rip open the bag. He's not done that before. In summer I use a lot of catnip to sprinkle on my back porch, which all my cats like to roll in. In winter I'll place a pinch in their bed and on their play rug. Catnip is a natural sedative (after it excites them) and also deters fleas. Sometimes I brush some on my hand and rub it on their fur. I've used catnip for years, and this one is quite strong.

Bugsy LOVES catnip, and this product is fresh and enticing for him. The tub is a great size because we give him catnip at least once a day. We keep it in the freezer to preserve its freshness, and the cat will tap his paw on the freezer door when he wants some. The size of the leaves is good--not ground to powder like some catnip.

She's had some cat nip before, but it was very dry and had little smell. My cat soon lost interest, but this has a fresh smell and she loves it. I sprinkle a little on her toys and she plays for a while and then curls up and has a nice rest. This was the first I had ordered, but when she goes through this large container, I'll be buying more. Great price too! Thanks!

I had heard that Catnip buds r the most powerful kind of Catnip and boy is it true!!! After the box came in the mail, all six cats were rubbing alot on the box and sniffin it and tryin to roll on the box! The Catnip was not only in the box, but also sealed up inside plastic bags - very well! The cats could sure smell it and they luved it! When I gave it to them, they absolutely luved it and went nuts!!! Most of the cats got sooooo relaxed after eating some and sniffin it, that they laid down - looking very drugged out and after a bit - went to sleep! I actually got concerned and checked their breathing! They were fine. I had never seen cats react so strongly to Catnip before and I've had cats my whole life (52 years). I had never used the buds before. They really r the best!!! Just break off the leafy buds from the stalks. U don't want your cat/cats to hav any of the stalk - as it can poke and hurt their throats and insides. All my cats TOTALLY LUV this stuf!!!

Having found a kitten being attacked by birds in my yard, I now have 4 cats. The older cats have taught the newbie that every Sunday if you stand in a line in front of the catnip drawer, you will be rewarded. They all love it.It keeps them busy for awhile. Rubbing and rolling all over the place.
