My dog has some strange phobias that send her into intense panic mode. These phobias can be anything from a door squeaking or a bumble bee outside the window. Since I can't predict these fears, I have these pills ready in the cabinet. She easily takes a pill and within a half hour will be calm and like herself again even if the phobia is still present. She's not drugged up, but she's just able to relax. I don't need to give the full dose for her weight either most of the time and I don't need to give it to her daily.

I have behavioral problems with all 3 of my pugs.Two of the pugs are related and have OCD issues,the other female is reacting to the aggression from the daughter of our male.I gave the supplement to all three hoping to calm them all. I did not see any improvement in the dogs after one full week of use.If I had seen small changes in even one of them I would have been encouraged to continue the supplement,to allow time for it to come to it's full strength, but I saw no difference in any of the dogs.

This product is good for helping dogs with increased levels of stress. My dog has done well on it for the past few years at a low dose during stressful times of transition. It's great for use with a behavioral modification program.

Also, to "Shannon" who wrote the review about combining this product with the antidepressant Clomipramine - I don't think the Genesis product caused your dog to get worse.

The more likely answer is that the Clomipramine caused your dog to get worse. Have you read the side effects on that drug? Any drug that has suicide as a listed side effect for humans should obviously be used with caution.

I have a 3 yr old staffie he stresses out when new people are around or if there is alot of activity and he would start jumping on people, after taking this product for 2 weeks we noticed a big difference he is much calmer and doesnt stress so easily.

I'm not sure if this product works by itself because I haven't had a chance to find out but if you use it in addition to Chlomipramine (for separation anxiety) it actually makes the condition worse. There are no contraindications so it's not harmful, but it seems to have the opposite effect intended.

half a tablet 3x a day has helped to make our now 10 month old shorthair pointer puppy focus on her general training. she is still the same only less so - runs, digs, barks, plays but not as if she was shot full of adrenaline. am very glad to have found this product.

My dog started having panic attacks around a year ago. This is the first thing I tried and it works really well. One tablet and he is sleeping through thunder storms!!! He is 12 now, so I am really careful about anything like this- I truly did not believe it would work- but it does!!!

My male boxer is terrified of people, change, noise... We have tried EVERYTHING to help him. the anxiety & Stress formula have helped immensely. Max weighs 90 pounds and the directions say to give him 2 tablets twice daily. We give him one tab and, if we know of a hi stress event, we will give him the drops about half an hour before it is scheduled. He is much calmer and does not get the "shakes" like he used to. It is really helping us to help him overcome his issues.

I found the Only Natural Pet Store site looking for healthy treats and found far more than I knew existed. I have a five year old, long hair dachshund that was a breeder at a puppy mill for two 2 years until I rescued her. After having her 3 years, I am the only person she halfway trusts. When my friends come over, she hides undes the bed and barks constantly. Sometimes, something as innocent as me picking up a flashlight puts a look of sheer terror on her face and she runs and hides in her safe spot under the bed. I decided to try the Anxiety and Stress formula and she has been a different dog since the first day. She sat on the bed with me and my friend while we worked on a project. She barked a single bark twice and a quiet correction stopped that. She is not drugged - we went outside and she dug holes, sniffed the ground - her usual behaviors. My dog really likes these, and I think they are making a difference. He is leash aggressive and both dogs bark at passersby, so the little one gets one as a treat and the big ones gets 2, a couple of times a day. We use this w/ Relaxi-Herb and the Pet Alive Homeopathic remedy. Seems to making a difference.
