When I could force my cat to take it, it worked! Unfortunately it has to be forced. She will not eat food that has the medicine and she spits out water that I had added it to and squirted into her mouth. I bought specific treats that hide pills and put the powder in the middle, but she wont eat the treat so again I have to force it. I tried other remedies, but really this works best, I just can't get it into her.

What I thought was furball that was stuck in my cat's throat turned out to be asthma. He was "coughing" quite a bit but the vet didn't seem overly concerned or interested in treating it. So, I found NAC on this site after putting in "asthma" in the search.

I will say that the supplement is effective in that his coughing diminished to the point where it's very rare for him to be coughing. However, the taste is horrible. I tasted it myself and it's very sour/bitter so while he's a voratious eater with little objections to what he eats, he has a hard time finishing his meal with the powder mixed in. Hunger will overtake and he'll eventually eat it, but you can tell it's not his preferred choice.

If the powder can somehow be flavoured like the senior's cat vitamin formula (which he thinks is a treat), I think it would be easier to give it to him. If he was a picky eater like my other cat, there's no way he will eat it in his food, and there's no chance you can force it down their throat as the pills are huge and you're only supposed to give it 1/4 cap (which is still a lot).

I also purchased this product along with the Respiratory Relief with great hopes, unfortunately this product did nothing to help with the mucas and congestion for my cat's asthma. Chest x-rays showed no improvement whatsoever. I wanted this to work so i could use something herbal/homeopatic for my cat but it just doesn't do anything for him.

Add w/ a little milk, Scruff{gently}, and give by syringe{a 1ml}. I saw Immediate! results{unusal, but True!} I will try other products, it saved our cat's life when we thought He would have to be put down. Thanks Guys!

We oh so want to use this for our little asthmatic cat but we cannot get him to take it. I have mixed it in his canned food, he would not eat it. I mixed it with water and squirted it into his mouth. He spit it out. I dipped my finger in canned food then the med and forced it into his mouth. He still found a way to spit it out. I wish there was some other way to use this besides opening a capsule and trying to divide the powder into quarters. Is there anything else for sale that is non-steroidal?

I have a dog named teddy who is almost 16 yrs old-he has chronic bronchitis and other wise is doing good. I used some natural meds from another company for about 1 yr but it was starting not to work as well and i had to give him 4 pills a day an d it was more expensive. i decided to switch and i am glad i did. this will be my 3rd order.

Because this comes in human dosage, I have to slice open a capsule and use it in four dosages, but this has cut my kitty's severe asthma cough to nothing, in conjunction with the homeopathic cough remedy. I add both to her canned food morning and night, and her cough is 95% gone. She has more energy and sleeps better, and is playing again (nine years old).

We have been using this product for "Hank" and his chronic bronchitis. It has helped quite a bit and he seems a lot happier and more comfortable. It also saved us hundreds on anti-biotics and vet bills!!!
