Feeding the Itchy Dog:

Diet must be addressed when an animal shows signs of allergies. The fresher the diet, the better; canned, freeze dried, dehydrated or raw food is best.  See our Quick Guide to Natural Pet Food.  We recommend avoiding beef and chicken as protein sources for a period of 3-4 weeks for dogs with allergies to see if this may be contributing to your dog's issues. We also recommend avoiding wheat, corn and soy in the foods you feed while treating allergies.

Additional Recommendations:
