I feed this to my angel Kitty. He's a Siamese mix with big blue eyes and chocolate paws, and unfortunately is a bit overweight. I didn't think much of it until my vet said he should probably lose weight. I went out right away and bought this food at the suggestion of the lady in our natural pet store. Kitty seemed happy I was giving him new food, and he has lost weight and looks much slimmer. He used to lay on the floor a lot but now he jumps up on everything. I stopped feeding him table scraps too – and only give him this food now and we love Natural Balance for his new figure!

Of all the dry foods I've tried, this is the one that works best for my older, overweight kitty. He gets constipated on the grain-free foods. This is not grain-free, but even my grain-sensitive younger cat can eat it without problems because there is no corn or wheat in it. I'm not sure if it's doing anything in terms of weight-loss, but they get wet food as well.

I have a cat that is free fed and she really liked to pig out! This food fills her up so no more gorging the food all in one sitting and the reduced calorie really helps maintain her weight as well.

I feed my cat in his cat carrier to keep my dog from eating his food. Whenever the cat wants food, he sits on top of the carrier and stares at me when I am passing through the room to let me know. I only feed him twice a day, and he sits on his carrier a lot, not because he isn't fed enough, but because he absolutely loves this stuff. Great value in the long run because you don't have to feed as much as less expensive brands because it is super nutritious. His stool is small also because almost all of the ingredients are utilized by his body which means less scooping. Can't recommend enough.

I have 3 indoor cats, and they all immediately loved the taste of this food. Of course, I introduced it to them gradually, but noticed they gravitated towards it in their bowl, over the old food which I was weening them off of. Highly recommend!
