My one dog (Crocker mix) used to get seizures with the topical flea. But this collar stopped the seizures and the fleas.

Now to be fair and honest - my other dog had a reaction.

Unfortunately, it did not appear to have any effect in repelling fleas. I gave my 3 cats and 1 dog baths, vacuumed the house from top to bottom, and immediately put on the collars. The pets were almost flea-free at that point. After 4 weeks the pets were badly covered in fleas, with most hanging out around their neck area - just where the collars were.

I have used these collars for years. They are great for dogs with allergies. Works better than the pour on flea treatments that burn the skin. Great for dogs who do pet therapy or visit patients. They smell good and will not harm patients or children.

I have used many flea collars over the years, but I have discovered, in recent years, that they were not as "healthy" for my animals as I would have liked, so I have converted to the more healthy ways of dealing with fleas. Recently, we discovered our mini-schnauzer had fleas and I decided to try something herbal. This flea collar has done the trick! Fleas are gone and the constant scratching and itching, too! We are ALL very happy! :O)

My pointing dogs are outside daily and exposed to ticks, flys, fleas, and mosquitos. This product works better than prescription products.

I wish this had worked. I don't use flea collars ordinarily due to concerns about toxicity. I just got a new dog and wanted to try to limit her exposure to pesticides. I used this flea collar with brewers yeast and garlic and herbal drops and she was covered with fleas within a couple of weeks. We live in the country and maybe there are just too many fleas for the natural remedies to work.

Not sure if it works for fleas because I use frontline plus too, but I love the smell and leaves my dog smelling fresh for weeks. If you have a smelly dog I would definitely recommend. Last about a month and half, not three months as stated.
