Nature's Variety Grain-Free Instinct Cans are now available!

Fresh meat is the first ingredient in each formula of Nature's Variety Dry Kibble. In fact, meat and organs make up nearly 40% of the ingredients. Most dry kibble diets are 25 to 30% meat or meat and bone products, with some formulations even containing less than 10%.

After processing, the kibble dry enrobed with ingredients such as probiotics, prebiotics, and enzymes that are present in raw foods, but destroyed through the heat of the processing. The enzymes aid in better digestion, the probiotics play a big part to ensure a healthy immune system, and the prebiotics help in growth and population of probiotics in the digestive tract.

Nature's Variety kibble provides a source of over 50 trace minerals. A colloidal silicate called montmorillonite supplies important trace minerals. Many pet owners insist that the supplementation of these colloidal silicate minerals have helped produce better coats, weight gain, increase in milk production, better conception, and overall better health.

Nature's Variety Prairie Brand Dry Kibble Diets are designed to be rotated freely for variety and optimal nutrition. Emphasis is put on fresh meat as the first and prominent ingredient of each diet. The grains present in these diets are only whole grains; never inferior grain fractions. All Nature's Variety products are naturally preserved with vitamins and herbal extracts, and sealed in oxygen limiting packaging.

Prairie Brand Dry Dog Kibble is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profile for All Life Stages.

We have tried 11 high end dog foods over the last 6 months. I mean the best of the best. Our Boxers would not eat them and even if they did they had upset stomachs.
We have now had them on the Chicken and Brown rice Prairie and they love it and have no gastro problems.
This is a perfect product that i the only brand that i would feed my babies.

This is the only food I can feed my dog that he doesn't have terrible allergies and ear infections on. I also like the venision raw by the same brand and mix the two. Definitely recommend it if your dog has allergies!

Since we started feeding our Australian Shepards Natures Variety dry foods, their coats improved and they definitely had more energy - which with Assies is not necessarily a good thing or the owner!

We like that the food is produced within our region, here on the Great Plains, and the zip-lock bags are a big plus.

Comments about Nature's Variety Prairie Dry Dog Food:

My active mixed-breed lab mutt loves this food. I regularly switch him between the different kinds, whenever a bag is close to empty (2-3 meals left) I pour in a new bag of a different flavor and he seems to respond positively when it is time for a new bag (eats like he never ate before!). However, he only likes the salmon in small quantities, every now and then given in single meal quanities. The beef, venison, chicken, and lamb are all well-loved. His stool is very healthy and his fur is silky smooth even in the dry desert here. We regularly hike with him, and he loves swimming and running, the food seems to provide him enough energy for all his daily activities.

Comments about Nature's Variety Prairie Dry Dog Food:

In the past I would rotate the brand of my dogs' kibble because they would get really bored of in about 4 months. However, I have fed Prarie for about two years and the dogs still love it! My preformance dogs are strong and healthy, and my dog with a sensitive stomach digests it well.

MAN is this stuff great! My dog loved it, ate the whole thing and asked for more. It's full of healthy things and it's wonderful. The only con is it's somewhat expensive.
