My dog isn't great at taking her meds as she seems to not like the chalky texture, so I grind the pill up and mix it with her food, and she eats it with no problem.
Seems to do well in giving her relief with her knee, which has developed a touch of arthritis after an injury two years ago. Not sure how long she feels relief for, but she doesn't seem to be having a problem.

This is one more item I keep on hand in case I need it for my dog. I do not believe it is recommended for cats. It is good to have a kit ready because you do not have to waste time in helping your pet if they need it. I prefer to use this in lieu of a baby aspirin as many recommend because I feel more confident in the dosage and ingredients for my dog (even though he really is my baby!)

My 3.5 year old boxer fractured a toe and I hate giving perscription pain pills as they make her act funny and the baby asprin wasn't helping her. I gave her one pill wrapped in a little lunch meat as she wouldn't always just take it. But it seemed to really help on her bad days or when she'd bump her foot and carry it. Didnt notice any side effects. Might want to break it in half to give it to my little pug. But one whole pill helped my 65 pound boxer all day.
