I like to give my dogs a natural chew in the evening before bed. I will often hold out two different treats in my hands to see which one they choose. If offered, they always choose this product (the beef tendon). It seems to be their favorite. It keeps them busy for 20 minutes or so and there is never anything left to dry out or get hard. It is a bit greasy but it doesn't affect their digestion and I don't any smell from it. So this has become my go-to evening treat for the dogs.

ALL my dogs love these. I give to them every other day or so and it works great for some quiet time. The smell is not so bad. Only downside is the cost.

I had previously bought individually wrapped beef tendons by Red Barn, and they were terrific; I bought these, thinking they'd be the same. I was very disappointed; I am currently trying everything I can to get rid of the smell (leaving them outside, on a plate, covered with a bar-b-q net covering, bringing them in at night and putting them in a plastic bag with baking soda)

My 2 year old boxer selects these over all treats offered to her! Sometimes she'll even drop another treat and wait until I pull out one of these!

My new 3-year old Shih Tzu came to me with undefined likes & dislikes, so it was trial & error. But this one is the overall winner; she carries it all around & chews frequently, unlike the plastic-rubber bones she has. i wish i had bought more than one.

My miniature australian shepherd is a heavy chewer and it is a challenge to find a treat that she doesn't devour in a couple of minutes. Only Natural Beef Tendons are the one treat that last longer with her. She loves the taste and will work at the Beef Tendon until it is all gone. Wish they were a little less expensive, but they do make a great special reward.

I have a small older poodle with only a few teeth left and a young maltese. Both love the bones, but I take them away from them when the bones are getting too small or too long and soft as I am afraid they may choke on them. Considering the short time they last I consider them very expensive. Also after the dogs have chewed them the bones really have a bad smell.

My dogs have loved these. I have a new pup and she loves the tendons, just the right size. Sometimes I'll cut them in half for a quick treat for her and use them as a distraction when I have to leave her at home.
