This tincture is formulated from the following quality herbs:

• Elderflower (flower):  This herb supports the effective excretion and elimination of phlegm from the lungs.
• Grindelia (aerial parts):  Grindelia has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and expectorant properties.
• Horehound (aerial parts):  Horehound has a long history of use as a cold and flu remedy.  It is thought to support the reduction of congestion by stimulating the central nervous system to secrete fluids and to relax the smooth muscles in the body. 
• Licorice (root):  Licorice has been used in ancient Greece, China, and Egypt for ailments of the upper respiratory tract. Licorice has antiviral and antimicrobial properties and soothes the body's mucous membranes including throat and digestive tract.  It also is supportive of proper functioning of the adrenal gland during times of illness and stress.
• Marshmallow (root):  Marshmallow preparations are recognized for their ability to soothe and soften irritated tissue, particularly mucous membranes, and to loosen a cough.  The mucilaginous and demulcent properties of Marshmallow aid in the excretion and elimination of phlegm from the lungs.
• Osha (root):  A traditional Native American herb used to support the body during periods of upper respiratory stress and congestion, Osha displays a strong affinity for the respiratory system supporting the elimination of mucous. It has antiviral and antimicrobial properties and supports proper functioning of the immune system.
• Wild Cherry (bark):  This herb supports the relaxation of the cough reflex.

• Isatis (leaf, root):  Isatis has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine to support reduction of heat, cool the blood and throat, and support the immune system.  It has antiviral and antimicrobial properties.

Dosage:
3 times per day. 1 drop per 2 pounds of body weight up to 50 pounds, thereafter 1 drop per 4 pounds.  Should be mixed with wet food, broth or gravy (especially for cats) and fed freely or given with a dosing syringe directly into mouth.  Give 3 times daily for 7 to 10 days. Contact your veterinarian if you do not see improvement in your pet's symptoms.
