Choosing the best litter for your cat, you, and the planet is easy with Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble Cat Litter.

Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble Cat Litter features instant clumping, superior odor control, and is 4 times more absorbent than the leading clay litters. The secret is the sustainably produced, USA sourced, 100% pine cobble. Pine cobble is finely shredded pine wood that is treated with high heat that maximizes the litter's absorbency, but limits its amount of dust and potential allergens. The result is a soft, absorbent surface that your cat will naturally be drawn to, which leads to easier transition and a nearly 100% acceptance rate.

Pine Cobble Clumping vs. Traditional Clay Clumping

Pine cobble clumps differently than traditional clay litter. Traditional clay litter clumps from the top down, creating a hard surface clump that leads not only to greater odor, but can lead to litter box aversion, the top reason cats are surrendered to shelters. Pine cobble absorbs quickly from the bottom up, trapping urine and possible ammonia release underneath the surface. This abosrbancy also works to dehydrate solid waste, reducing immediate and long term odors.

Pound for pound, pine cobble litter will absorb four times the urine volume than clay. This not only means that you will use more clay litter than our clumping pine, but since the substrate is so much more absorbent, the clumps from a single cat box will typically be multiple pea size clumps rather than one large clump. This removes the hazards associated with clump consumption by puppies or kids. Multiple cat use boxes will typically form larger clumps that will be "urine soaked" for easy removal. Remember though, pine cobble clumping litter is not designed for aggressive sifting.

Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble Cat Litter has undergone years of testing so we could find the ideal litter for your cat. This litter is perfect for single & multi-cat households because of its super absorbency and amazing odor control; plus it's flushable and biodegradable. The pine cobble is allergy friendly because it's not made with any corn, soy, or wheat; this means you don't have to worry while your cat is in the box, or grooming well afterward. And since it's low dust, you know that it will be safe for your cat's respiratory system, and a clean choice for your home.

Our pine cobble litter is environmentally friendly. It's made from sustainably harvested, renewable pine, and it's a USDA Certified Biobased Product, which meets the government standards to "contribute to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts."

Directions for Use

To get started, mix 1/3 Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble with your current litter so that your cat can adjust to the change. Once your cat is comfortable with the adjustment, go to 2/3 Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble with 1/3 your current litter. Continue reducing the amount of old litter included until your cat fully accepts the pine cobble litter.

After full transition, place 2-3 inches of Only Natural Pet Pine Cobble Litter in a clean litter box. After your cat has used the litter box, remove any clumps and solids. For best results, clean daily, always maintaining 2-3 inches of litter in the box. Add fresh litter as needed.

Biodegradable & Flushable

For overall water quality and wildlife safety, some states consider litter flushing to be illegal. Be sure to consult the laws of your state.

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

I purchased the 4 pack of this litter after reading all the great benefits and such a great price. Now I can't wait until it is finally gone. It is great in absorbency but it tracks EVERYWHERE. I have a 2 story house and the litter boxes are upstairs. The litter is upstairs and downstairs and on the stairs. My cats love it, I think mainly because it is very soft on their paws. I will not purchase it again.

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

I have bought many items from this company and have always been very happy...but this litter was a HUGE disappointment and waste of money. They should not even call it a clumping litter because it does not clump at all. I've tried different sized scoopers and the results are always the same....as soon as I lift the pee out of the box (without shaking the scooper), the entire pile just crumbles right back into the litter box...leaving me with hundreds if not thousands of little pieces of pee soaked litter right back in the box! While it does smell nice and is lightweight, it does not do a good job controlling fecal matter smell, it does a decent job controlling urine smell. It also is messy outside the box, because it is so lightweight, it tracks all over the house. Despite being labeled low dust...it is not low dust. A cloud of dust arose when pouring it into the litter box, and even when scooping. If you are looking for a good wood clumping litter....this is NOT one I would recommend.

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

I bought this version of Pine litter because I needed a regular natural litter for my cats. I had read about the dangers of clay based clumping litters, so I started experimenting with different natural clumping litters. First let me say that I prefer clumping because it makes it possible for me to remove all pee and poo from my cats litter boxes...which I feel is more sanitary and healthy for them.

I originally gave corncob litter a try, but read about bug and mold issues that come with food based litters (corn, wheat, walnut)...so I thought to try pine clumping and paper clumping litter.

I originally was only going to go with the Feline Fresh pine litter because it had good reviews here and across several sites. But despite the bad reviews Only Natural Pet's own pine litter got, I thought to give it a try since I was able to get a special add-on price of under 8 bucks for an 11 pound bag.

Well its been only a couple days and I cant wait to finish the bag and be done with this litter. First off it doesnt clump well at all. I did a water clump test in a bowl before laying litter in the litter box. It clumped some, but then broke apart...so I knew I was in for a tough time.

So as I said...when the cats pee, the clumps do not stay together during sifting. And this is despite sifting very gently. The clumps are just bigger and coarser than other pine clumping litters...and this seems to keep it from holding clumps. Therefore dirty urine soaked pieces of litter fall back into the box, which means I will have to replace the entire litter box more often to keep it as clean as I like.

Lastly, the smell is more of a sawdust smell than a true pine smell that I got from the other litter I bought. I will not be purchasing this again.

I really like this litter. It clumps well, has good odor control & smells fresh. I like that you sell at a good price & it lasts a long time. I stick with bio-degradable that I can flush, so I love that this does easily. I guess the best thing about it is that the cat likes it!

Pining for the lesser of evils

        By Pine v Corn

        from New York, NY

        Pros

        • No Aflatoxins
        • Tracks A Little Less

        Cons

        • Extremely Dusty
        • poor clumping

        Best Uses

        • In the barn
        • In The Hamster Cage

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

Switched from great clumping but high tracking corn-based to this... very difficult to clean up after as significantly as corn or clay, because the clumps fall apart unless you scoop and dispose of a huge shovelful that happens to include the little pee clump. However, I would rather do more cleaning of the litter in the box than worry about aflatoxins and do the substantial cleaning of the tracking all over my home. It's all about choosing the lesser of evils that 1) your cats approve of and 2) you can manage with your circumstances... and in that order. :)

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

My cats took to it right away, thankfully -- but I had hoped it would clump better especially because I use the Omega Rollaway litter box; not so good for that. I was surprised that some folks found it less dusty because I think it is comparable to WBCL which I wanted to replace with this... glad to see it was heat treated to help eliminate wood shavings issues! This jury is still out so bottom line recommendation is likewise.

Comments about Only Natural Pet Clumping Pine Cobble Cat Litter:

I bought 4 bags of this when the promo sale was conducted. I loved it at first- then was a little frustrated as it did not clump the urine.
I modified my use by only putting about 1 inch of litter in the litter box- removed feces as often as possible- then dumped the entire box once a week. What I love about this litter and why I'll keep using it has to do with 2 factors: environmentally GREEN and REALLY absorbs urine and odor- amazing stuff.

My cat box is outside in a fenced, enclosed area so the tracking isn't an issue for me. It does not stay in my cats paws the way the clay did so by the time my cat leaves the litter box and comes back inside-- there is no tracking.
