I'm using the Thyroid wellness along with the kidney support supplements, and my cat looks and behaviours much better though not completely without symptoms but he's doing much better he has a healthier weight and he's less stressed and excited than before, I started using the two products. the reason I'm using these products his because my cat showed signs of both hyperactivity and kidney disease I researched these conditions for three months before deciding to use the supplements and from what I can tell my cat is doing much better. I give my cat the kidney pills as instructed on the bottle and I wait two hours between doses before giving him half a thyroid pill and my cat seems to look forward to taking each pill he has not had any side effects so far.

I have 2 14-year-old cats that are brother and sister. I just discovered this summer that they both have hyper-thyroid disease. Since I cannot afford expensive drugs or treatments, I decided to go natural. (Understanding that these kinds of products can and probably should be used in conjunction with medical treatments). However, I am almost through the first bottle with them and they both seem to be doing better. The male seemed to gain his appetite back (he seemed like he was shutting down before). The female is still 'talking' a bit, but not as much as before this and she appears to be eating better, too. The chewable tablets are great! I crush them with a pestal and mix them into moist food...just a little, until they eat it up, then I give them the rest of their meal. [I also use probiotics for their gut and a basic multi-vitamimin.] (I had to give up feeding them brand name dry cat food b/c it was definately upsetting their bowels.) I would recommend this to folks like me who cannot afford any other means of treatment.

My 10 year old cat started eating and drink everything in sight and her hair started falling out. She was also very restless, primarily because I think she was hungry. I started this supplement because all signs seemed to point to a thyroid problem. She would not eat the pill so I have to crush it and mix it in wet food which is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. Within 2 weeks of giving her the pill, things started to improve. First she started drinking a normal amount of water and then her eating slowed and now she actually leaves food behind in her bowl. She isn't losing nearly as much hair now. Her coat still doesn't look great, but I'm hoping with continued use that will improve as well. She's not nearly as restless as she was and is playing with her toys again. I think the product really helped her!

My female cat is 15+ years old. When I discovered that she had hyperthyroidism, I was worried about her treatment, as veterinary medication can be so hard on animals' systems--especially as they advance in age. I purchased Only Natural Pet's Feline Thyroid Wellness, as I wanted a homeopathic solution.

Within a few days after administering the medication, I noticed that she was no longer hiding to keep cool, shedding excessively (I would brush a kitten worth of hair off of her--or so it seemed--daily!!), or overly nervous/hyper. She also regained her appetite--and stopped vomiting!!

I believe that this homeopathic solution is the best way to manage/balance her thyroid function and keeps her right as rain. It is now part of her daily regimen; I crush the pill and mix in wet food to administer.

My only criticism is that I would rather purchase the product in powder form, as no cat would voluntarily swallow a pill that size.

So far, so good. Will post again after our cat has been on it awhile. One tip that might help people administering this very large pill. As other people have already mentioned, cutting it in half and giving it 2x a day is helpful. Also, a vet I saw on YouTube suggested smearing big or dry tablets with butter to help it go down. Great idea! It makes it so much easier and she LOVES the taste of the butter.

We haven't gotten our cat officially tested, but he seems to be doing much better on the medication. The only options given to us by our vet. were surgery, radiation treatment, or cortisone shots to help ease the situation as we waited for the thyroid problem to take its toll. We stated using this product as a last resort and are very happy with the results so far. We are often telling each other how much better our cat looks and is acting. In addition, he seems to be putting on more weight. However, I cannot get him to actually take the pill, so I crush it and add it to some canned food - no problems there.

My 20 year old cat with hyperactive thyroid was unable to tolerate the prescription medication even at the lowest dose.

The vet said the next alternative was radioactive iodine, but due to the stress (3-5 days at the vets), the cost and my cat's age, we opted not to pursue that treatment.

I found this online, and asked our vet for advice about it. She said she was not knowledgeable enough about natural remedies to give an informed opinion, but the ingredients didn't contain anything that would be harmful, so she thought it would be fine to give it a try.

It was difficult at first to get the pills into our cat - even pill pockets didn't work. We finally found that mixing it into a 1/2 can of chicken liver Fancy Feast did the trick.
She's just finishing her first 90 day supply. I don't know if it's making a difference in the clinical course of the disease, but she FEELS better, and with a 20 year old kitty, that's everything! :-)

She stopped the frequent throwing up (only once or twice in the past 90 days vs every other day before), she stopped losing weight (although she hasn't gained much back yet), and mostly she's just a much calmer, more comfortable kitty.

I am so grateful for a treatment that is making my cat's old age more peaceful, and blunting the symptoms of this terrible ailment. Thank you!
