My daughter and I use Bully Bites with our smaller dogs--Italian Greyhounds, a Toy Manchester mix, and a Toy Fox Terrier.

Bully sticks are great for dogs, puppy-safe treats that deliver a lot of chewing pleasure--but most of the bully sticks available are too big (especially for the 6-lb Toy Fox puppy!).

Bully Bites are just the right size. The only downside we've ever noticed is that if you don't keep them in the fridge they tend to smell after a while. So we keep them in the fridge--problem solved.

I like this product for the price and convenience. For my small dogs, I find the larger bullies are expensive and I go through them in about the same amount of time. These shorter pieces are great to hand to my dogs when I need to keep them occupied and they are just as useful a tool as a larger bully.

My senior gal who was rescued from a puppy mill only has 5 teeth left. She loves to chew on the bullies and my vet has said that the exercise will help her retain whatever bone she has left in her jaw. All my dogs love them and this is the best price I've seen for them. I will be buying these again!

Because the pieces are smaller and not uniform in size, I would not recommend them for larger dogs or dogs that are gulpers.

I use Bully Bites dog chews as a stay-busy treat for my two Italian Greyhounds when I go to work. They stay in a couple of rooms upstairs (with water and a dog litterbox available) while I am away.

The Bully Bites are a good size to keep them busy for a while, but not so large that they can't finish and I find half-chewed ends stuck away everywhere. The price fits in my budget, too.

The only caution I'd add is they are perishable. I freeze mine, except the bag I have open--and I keep that bag in the fridge or it gets to smelling pretty ripe.
