My 1 year old kitty coughed up a hairball almost as big as she was after throwing up daily for week. I got these chews and she has not had a hairball (or thrown up for any reason) in more than a year now. She also LIKES these and considers her daily "dose" a treat! This product works great. Keeps my cats hairballs under control, and hers is severe. When she gets a hairball it causes her to throw up all her food. If she has a flair up then I double her dose for 24 hrs. Then were back on track.

I have a 17 yr old healthy indoor cat who despite getting probiotics daily, has the occasional hair ball spit up issue. As long as I give her the 2-fish a day hair ball remedy NO HAIRBALLS! I really like this product and so does she.Giving it every morning as her am snack is quick & easy.

My cats look for these every night, they love them, but they still throw up from hairballs unfortunately. And I've been giving them these hairball chews for over a year or more now! I haven't found anything out there that helps them with this issue!

I got these primarily for Houtie the Who, a very long longhaired cat who also grooms his four brothers. His hairballs were Homeric; the stuff of legends; often mistaken for drowned rats.

Frequent brushings weren't enough, and he utterly distained the glop one puts on their paws or noses. Made him quite indignant and even, at times, angry. Hr loves these chews! Other reviewers have said they are too hard to easily be eaten; I disagree. They are a sturdy little fish shape that is easy for any cat to keep a grip on. Yes; they do take some chewing, but that's good exercise for the jaw muscles. Admittedly, Houtie is a huge boy, but I administer these to lesser cats as needed, and, if one just breaks them in half, even the most demure cat scarfs them down easily and eagerly.

At first, Houtie was still producing his occasional wet rodent sculptures - but they were half the size that they had normally been. It's been a little under two months now, we're down to 4 per day instead of the maximum 8. No unpleasant squishyness under foot in the middle of the night for a couple of weeks.

I will keep administering these. They work better than anything else I have tried and, unlike many other products, are full of good things one would wish to get into the cat in any case.
