B-Complex Vitamins: B-1, B-6, and B-12 - B Vitamins play a key role in digestion and support healthy assimilation of nutrients and metabolism of digestive waste products like nitrogen. Vitamin B-1 has a mild diuretic effect, which reduces the concentration of waste excreted in urine. Vitamin B-6 is critical in protein and fat digestion, and activates many enzymes to break down and assimilate amino acids and essential fatty acids. Vitamin B-12 is important for digestion of all nutrients, in metabolism, and in enzyme activity throughout the body.
Biotin: This important co-enzyme works with the B Vitamins to improve protein digestion and assimilation, which helps maintain normal levels of metabolized waste. Biotin plays a critical role in the utilization of protein throughout the body, and is commonly given to aid any body organs or system that requires a large amount of protein (muscles, skin and coat).
Yucca Schidigera: Yucca may help decrease urea and ammonia levels in the blood and thereby reduce the concentration of these waste materials in the urine. Yucca also decreases stool odor. Compounds in the Yucca plant also bind nitrogen in urine or feces.
