My Corgi loved to chew this treat but got diarrhea after each one. They were extremely greasy with fat. I tried baking them in my oven and got a lot of the fat out but the smell drove my husband outside. To finish up the only bag I will ever buy, my Corgi gets one small piece about once a week.

I have a tiny 8lb dog, and he enjoys these as an occasional long-lasting treat. My only problem is that whole pieces can be seen in his stools. Yes, this is a VERY hard treat. Recommended for supervised use only.

I have a 7 mth lab/poodle puppy and although she does love these, and they last for days, they are hard to get started and I find pieces of them all over the house. I found the BonesGalore Grizzle Stix to be a bit thinner & still lasts. It too breaks into pieces but she doesn't seem to eat those.

I have a Springer who loves to chew. These slow her down and it seems like she enjoys the challenge to chew them. Great treat and great to have in the house for a special longer chewing time for her. They are clean and easy. I like that alot.

I thought these would be chewy, but they splintered off and were very hard. One of my dogs was not fond of them at all, the other ate hers, but I worried it would break her teeth.

If these were a little bit softer they would be perfect. They are hard so small dogs will take a long time to finish them. On the other hand, since they are a little bit brittle, larger dogs might finish them quickly. These are a great, inexpensive chew for small and medium dogs. I estimate that they will last around 1 hour.
