Using botanical active ingredients made from tree and plant oils to kill fleas and ticks, it reaches fleas and other pests hidden in carpets, rugs, drapes, upholstery, pet bedding, and floor cracks. Protects your home from reinfestation and flea buildup, your pets and family from bites. Leaves no objectionable odor or sticky mess, and used as directed, does not stain furnishings. Repeat as necessary. In order to help reduce the occurrence of fleas and ticks, this product is best if used year around.

Hold can upright 2 or 3 feet from surfaces to be treated or turn container upside down and point valve toward surface to be sprayed. Be sure to apply uniformly using a sweeping motion to carpets, rugs, drapes and all surfaces of upholstered furniture.  Be sure to treat pet bedding as this is a primary hiding place for fleas. No need to remove pet bedding after treatment. DO NOT TREAT PETS. Avoid wetting furniture and carpeting. A fine mist or spray applied uniformly is all that is necessary to kill fleas and ticks. Repeat as necessary.

This product may stain siding and other exterior or interior surfaces (walls, floor coverings, etc.) depending on age and cleanliness.  Before using in areas where the spray may contact surfaces in question, test on an inconspicuous area and recheck in a few hours.

This product contains tree and plant oils that are inherently fragrant.  When used in confined spaces, prolonged exposure to the fragrance may be objectionable to some individuals.  If fragrance persists, simply wipe away any excess product and ventilate the area with fresh air.

How Does Natural Defense Work?

Octopamine is a key neurotransmitter found in insects, it is the insect's equivalent of adrenaline.  It regulates their heart rate, behavior and metabolism.  The unique molecular structure targets and blocks octopamine neurotransmitter receptors in insects.  Blocking octopamine results in a total breakdown of the insect's central nervous system.  As mammals, fish and birds have no receptors for octopamine, the ingredients do not have this affect on them... or people!
