Seven Forests Reconciling Tablets is a Chinese herbal formula designed to balance the immune system and to treat autoimmune diseases. This formula is an adaptation of Traditional Chinese medical approaches to the group of inflammatory diseases that we now recognize as autoimmune diseases. From a Traditional Chinese Medical view, this is primarily a formula to engender or tonify the Liver and the Kidneys; two organs that play a major role in immunity (Ligustrum, Epimedium, Rehmannia, Achyranthes). It also has herbs that nurture the blood, which helps heal inflamed tissues (Salvia, Red peony).

Studies have shown that some herbs in this formula regulate the immune system, enhance suppressor T-cell function, inhibit antibody production (Chin-Chiu, Ching-hao). Licorice is used both to balance the formula and moisten the body, as well as to help enhance cortisol levels in the body (cortisol, a natural steroid produced in the body is antiinflammatory).

Seven Forests Reconciling Tablets may be helpful for autoimmune conditions such as lupus, denerative myelopathy, pannus, autoimmune related thyroid conditions, and autoimmune conditions triggerd by vaccinations.

Ingredients:
Chin-chiu, Ching-hao, Salvia, Red peony, Rehmannia, Codonopsis, Lonicera stem, Cistanche, Epimdium, Ligustrum, Anemarrhena, Moutan, Achyranthes, Licorice

Dosage Instructions:
Dogs: 1 tablet twice daily for each 25 lbs. body weight; can be crushed and mixed with food
Maximum dosage is 3 pills twice daily
Cats: 1/2 tablet once or twice daily crushed and placed into food (higher dosages are best if the cat will accept the taste)
