I consider this the Holy Grail of cat food! I've fostered cats for years and volunteered in shelters (not too mention I have two of my own furbaies at home) and this seems to win every time. I highly recommend it for finicky eaters and to be honest I've never had any cat or kitten turn it down. The only very slight drawback is that it is a bit chunky and needs to be mushed up a little before serving.
Obviously tuna is not meant to be fed too often but it makes the perfect treat once a week or so and/or while your pet is going through some transition/illness and having some appetite issues.

Could not find a canned food the cats would eat. Vets wanted me to use their food but they still would not eat it. This Solid Gold Blended Tuna is all they will eat from the can. I also feed them Kibble, which is all natural. Recently my Vet told me I should never feed cats tuna and there are many internet comments about cats and tuna. Another vet told me she thought Solid gold could be trusted.

This food has a nice blend of chunks and sauce that I mix up for my cat who has difficulty handling pureed mixes. I break down the chunks some for her. She loves this food, and it agrees with her very well. She consistently loves eating this food - a new experience for me in the eight years I have had her.

My two cats love this. They lick the plate clean! I've served this to them for about two weeks already. They have yet to get bored.

Super plus is whether credit is due to this brand or the dry royal Canine... They're coats are beautiful and super shiny! Very healthy!

This food is the only food they haven't had any leftovers! They actually don't ''shoe away''/ scratch the plate for me to remove it haha

only Cons is that they know when I run out of it. It seems they're a little disappointed if it's not that canned food I'm serving them (they constantly have Royal Canine dry food available to them)
The phrase "TUNA BREATH" fully applies here...

My 19 year-old cat, Lulu, has kidney disease. This product is super-low in ash, very important quality in food for older cats. Solid Gold is supplemented with the nutrients all cats need. With other aged cats in my past, I followed the vet's advice and fed Science Diet K/D. Cats hated it and it left their coats dry and dull. They looked ill. Not Lulu. She's eating eating Solid Gold and looks and acts healthy. I highly recommend this product. (Because of the high protein level, I also supplement with 1ml AlternaGel, a protein binder.)

My cat is a really picky eater but loves this food. It looks chunky, like real food not that bland blended stuff. He's also on a restricted diet due to crystals he gets in his bladder. This food is lower in ash and magnesium which helps him.

my finicky old kitty was getting skinny - she does not eat much. she does not like most foods - but she loves !!!! this food. if your cat has trouble eating and gaining weight - this is the food for them.

After the pet food scare in 2007, I tried very hard to get my cats off of their gluten-rich diets. I tried every natural cat food I could find, but they just wouldn't eat it...until I found Solid Gold Tuna. I tell you, this stuff is like catnip! They just can't get enough of it! I highly recommend it for finicky cats! I do break up the clumps with a fork before feeding them, but it's well worth the effort and the money to see my cats eating again.
