Milk thistle has a long history of use for a variety of health issues, but it is most known and used for it's effectiveness in protecting and regenerating the liver.  Milk thistle's sylmarin component is a powerful antioxidant and strengthens liver cell resistance to toxins, while at the same time stimulating cellular reproduction.

Super Milk Thistle X combines one part milk thistle extract and two parts phosphatidylcholine in a patented method. The process creates a superior form of milk thistle that is highly absorbed. Super Milk Thistle X also includes quality extracts of dandelion, which has a secretory function in the liver; artichoke, which has a long, successful history of liver support; and licorice, which enhances the immune system and promotes flow of bile and fat to and from the liver.

Available in 60 capsules or 120 capsules.

Ingredients:

• Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) Fruit Phytosome™ 100 mg
  One part Milk Thistle Extract, standardized to contain 80% silymarin, bound to two parts phosphatidylcholine (soy) using a patented process.
• Artichoke (Cynara Scolymus) 40 mg
  Leaf Extract standardized to contain 13%-18% caffeylquinic acids calculated as chlorogenic acid.
• Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) Root Extract 4:1 10 mg
• Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 10 mg
• Root and Rhizome Extract standardized to contain 5% glycyrrhizic acid

Other Ingredients: cellulose, vegetable polysaccharide capsule, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.

Contains No: sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, dairy products, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring, preservatives or ingredients of animal origin. This product contains natural ingredients; color variations are normal.

Dosage Instructions:
Cats:    1/2 capsule daily
Dogs:    Under 25 lbs - 1 capsule daily
              25 - 50 lbs   - 2 capsules daily
              50 - 100 lbs - 3 capsules daily
              Over 100 lbs- 4 capsules daily

This formula is for therapeutic use - milk thistle is not appropriate on a daily basis for healthy animals without need of liver support.
