Our 9 year old spayed female, Wheaten Terrier started having incontinence issues after a mild UTI. Testing revealed that she is in the beginning stages of canine renal failure (of which Wheatens are predisposed to) and has an extreme increase in thirst. This extra water didn't help the incontinence issue and the vet told us that the fix is a drug called "Proin." However, this former human drug can cause liver and/or kidney failure and since that was what we were trying to avoid, the alternative was a holistic and natural solution. I researched the Vetri-Science Bladder Support supplement and decided to give it a try. It took about a week to notice a change, but our Sweety Wheaty did start showing signs of improvement. She's been taking the pill for about a month now and while the incontinence issue hasn't been completely fixed, I would say its about 85% better than it was. A few dribbles or occasional tiny puddle to clean up is MUCH better solution for us than Proin and the possibility of further damaging her organ function. There has been no problem getting her to take the pill each day. She actually likes the taste (although her humans think it stinks!).

I bought this supplement for me 3 year old Lab/Shepherd mix because she was having difficulty w/holding her bladder after she was neutered. I see minimal changes at this time but I am hoping that another month may make the difference so I am going to continue to use the product.

Our Rottweiler, Bear, is growing old and along with age has come some incontinence issues....For some reason this product seemed to make him very thirsty--not good when you have 'issues'---he would be pacing the house at night looking for water....once I stopped the pills the thirst issue was resolved. Wish it would have worked!

My bully started taking this a few month back and it seemed to work very quickly. She no longer has that little bit of accidental pee which she didn't even know it was happening at the time. She would be lying on the floor and if she moved a little urine would be released. Since I started her on the bladder strength she's 100% better. She is still on it and at 10yrs of age I will probably keep her on it for the rest of her life.

This is a very effective product for controlling incontinence, but the flavor and odor are so strong, my dog won't eat them and she will eat ANYTHING. Overall this is a good product.

I noticed my bull terrier was peeing a little on her bed or when she got up there woul be a little pee. I read the other reviews and I've been using vetri-science the brand for a while now so I knew it had to be good. She's been on this stuff now for about three weeks, no more accidental pee:)

My female Lab developed urinary incontinence one year after spay. She's ten years old now. I tried several different products before this one. I have to give her 25mg PPA, split in half (12.5mg), daily. I also feed 1tablet Bladder Strengthener twice daily, two tablets/day with meals. I believe the Bladder Strengthener is what allows me to give her such a lose dose of PPA after 9years.
