My Holistic vet recommended this product for my 17 yr old cat who has always had a serious heart murmur.I've had her all her life and she is very healthy & happy, just old. My 9 1/2 year old chihuahua has congestive heart failure. She recently took a turn for the worse and passed out. She had been coughing so, so much. She was already on Enalapril and Vetmedin with the occasional Lasiks. I saw the reviews on this product and knew I had to try it. I started giving her 1 pill a day and saw slight improvement after a few weeks. Then when I came back to read the reviews again I saw that some people have doubled the dose for better results. I started giving her 2 pills a day and WOW! She is coughing so much less! She seems to feel better and isn't having such a hard time breathing. She still has to take it easy and she still gets out of breath and coughs in the morning, but this product has helped her tremendously. I think it has truly added time to her life.

My wonderful dog, Shadow, who is a 15 year old mixed breed, unfortunately contracted heartworm. She survived the extensive treatments, but suffered some heart damage. She had no appetite, excessive panting and thirst, lethargic, and constant pacing, esp. at night. I did not want to put her through extensive tests, to find out what I already suspected. Since she has been taking the supplement for the last 2 months, her breathing is much better, appetite has increased, and overall seems much more content. Our Koda was born with a heart defect. When she exercises her heart rate does not increase to keep the needed oxygen to her brain so she will pass out.
Our vet found her condition when she was 18 months old. Our vet gave us a trial size of this supplement and within a few weeks could see improvement.

i believe this stuff has saved my dog!! he grew up having a heart defect--heart murmur, but in his old age (13 yrs) his heart has gotten weaker. the doctor put him on everything from lasix, benazepril, pimobendan you name it... but it was only helping so much.. he was still getting horrible sleep apnea or dypsnea at night. i decided to try this supplement and i saw a bit of improvement with giving him one capsule daily (hes a 10 lb chihuahua). after reading up about therapeutic doses of taurine and l-carnitine, i decided to up it to twice daily and have found its SIGNIFICANTLY improved his condition. his breathing has normalized although he occasionally does wake up from the dypsnea, it isnt as horrible as it was a month ago-- no passing out! phew!

He's no longer on lasix, hes currently taking two cardio-strength a day and pimobendan and benazepril. this combo= a miracle <3

I have a four month old yorkie who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She was coughing every night all night long. The doctor gave her cough medicine but that only helped slightly. I found this stuff and read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. She has been on it for about one month now and it is a miracle worker. I have not heard her cough at all in over a week! I am giving it to her twice a day on cheese and she loves it. She goes for another X-ray after Christmas so we will see if her heart has gotten any larger. I will definately recommend this product to others and my vet said to keep using it

I use this product every day for my dachshund that has congestive heart failure. She was on prescription medication and I wanted something to help her. I bought your product and it really improved her overall well being, so much so I took her off her presciption (I couldn't afford both) and she is doing wonderful! Thank you for caring so much about our animals to have such a wonderful product. Our Gilli is active again, eating, playing and even jumping on the furniture!

Still giving Cardio-Strength along with prescribed meds to our 15 year old beagle for heart issues resulting from old age. We either sprinkle it on her dry dinner or give it to her in a meatball of canned dog food. Last check up the vet told me that considering her heart, she's doing "remarkably well". She is still active. Walks at least 20 minutes every single day (trots, not plods and pulls like a bull), still has a voracious appetite and dumps like a racehorse. The only adverse symptom she suffers from is a cough which is sometimes occasional and sometimes frequent. This we have not been able to eliminate completely with either meds or supplements. That aside, I firmly believe that Cardio-Strength has contributed to her overall good health relative to her age. Definitely a good product for the senior dog.
