Comments about Vetri-Science Flea & Tick Repellent:

I use this product daily, and have found it very effective. However, the sprayer does not work and I had to purchase a separate spray bottle to tranfer the product into. Not expected for the price paid for the product. I have two friends who had the same problem with the spray bottle which either worked initially and then malfunctioned after a few uses, or never worked from the start.

I like the product and its smell. It doesn't leave an oily residue on the coat like other EO products I've tried. It does seem to be working. However, the sprayer only worked on my first application. For repeat applications, I'm now dumping a small amount onto my hand and spreading on the dogs. Luckily I have very small dogs, because this method of application would be impractical for larger breeds.

I use this each time I take my dog out in an area where he might get ticks - so far so good have not had an issue yet.

I bought this product and the Herbal Defense Spray. Both seem to work as far as repelling ticks and flying insects. The smell of this product is a bit stronger than the Herbal Defense. My dogs don't seem to mind the smell however. I would definitely recommend trying this before resorting to a chemical repellent.
