I give to my 17-1/2 year old kitty who was having problems squatting in his litter box because he was stiff and would pee over the edge. I give one dose per day and he likes the taste and thinks it's a treat. No more messes to clean up. I showed the package to my vet and she agreed that it was a great thing to give to him.

When we started this product with our cats (members of the family, of course), our rescued Norwegian Forest Cat had a dry skin problem which resolved completely over the next 6-8 months. I split the chew in half to match the dosage per pound and put it in her food AM and PM. These can be crumbled, cannot see how they would be hard to feed to any animal. They may seem pricey, but they last and they work! Both cats looked much younger than they were. We lost our older kitty at age 21 or 22.

This is the second review I've made for this product. My oldest cat Phoebe has improved to the point that you would be stunned to know how old she is. (13 years) She is running and playing like a young cat again. She's doing all the silly things she used to, it's wonderful. I am so happy with this product, to watch her go from hobbling to running and jumping has been truly amazing.

This product is also for small dogs.I used to buy the Glycoflex II tabs for both my doxies, but purchased the soft chews for my 15 year old cat who has arthritis in his back legs.Now,the dogs get the chewable also. I am a firm believer in Glycoflex because of the perna canalculus not found in any other joint supplements.Glycoflex was originally recommended to me 12 yrs ago by my vet for my special needs doxie (since passed). My other doxies have been taking it daily since they were 2 and 1 yr old.

I had been hearing my 12 yr old Tortie cat popping occasionaly as she walked. I realized that she was starting to have hip and joint problems. Not until I saw her stumble one day did I know how much trouble she was in and then put together the fact she was crying when we picked her up. She was in serious pain. I felt so bad that I had missed the warning signs. I searched long and hard to find a chew, as apposed to a pill or something to crumble on her food (we have a community food bowl), she loves this treat! After two weeks we saw huge improvement and after one month she is running, leaping and playing like a young cat again. I am so happy with this product I cannot say enough good things!

They seem to work faster than other types I have given to 2 of my cats who are 14 and 18 years old with arthritis. I gave as directed and in about 3 or so days they seem to be limping less and not as stiff. The chews are soft and they beg for more. If your cat has a very small mouth the treats are easy to break in two. I will always have to have a supply on hand, I ran out of them for 2 weeks and the 14 year old has became stiff and started to limp again.
