Comments about Wellness CORE Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

I feed this to my 1 year old male cat in the evenings (he gets wet food during the day) and he seems to like it all right. The only issue I had with the food was he had a hard time adjusting to it at first and I had to transition him very slowly. I started with about 2 Tbs - 1/4 cup of the Wellness mixed with his old food, but he vomited it up so I backed down to about 1 tablespoon and then slowly every few days increased it and now, about 2 weeks later, he is tolerating up to a half a cup just fine. Otherwise I have had no issues with this food.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

My 4 year old male has had digestive issues since he was 3 months old. I had been using Blue Buffalo Grain Free, but Toby was still having occassional issues with loose stools, etc. He has also always had bouts of a nasal issue that I was told to not worry about unless it ulcerated (really?). I decided to bite the bullet and try Wellness Core. I've had Toby and Mica on the Indoor formula for 3 weeks now, and it has made a night and day difference for both of them. Toby has had NO digestive trouble and his coat is much improved (was not expecting that one), and his nasal issues have seemingly gone away (*knock on wood*). Mica, my female, does not like the new food as much, but as she is a chunky monkey with whom I've been struggling, I look at that as a good thing. Both are now in GREAT body condition and have gone from kinda high energy to completely crazy, tormenting the dog. I would highly reccommend the food to others.

It is a nice dry food. I don't give them too much even though I think my cats love it too much and one prefers over wet food.
For some reasons when they have hairball they would prefer this even more!

Our previous cat passed away from breast cancer. Being in the natural health field ourselves, we wanted to feed our new cats low grain and hypoallergenic cat food, so we chose this product. The cats love it and they are getting good nutrition.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

I have three cats that all love this food! They wern't too sure at first, but now I don't think they will go back to the old food. I had a diabetic cat who passed away a few years ago, but after researching I found that the cats diet needed more protein. I am no vet but I am going by my own experience. I do give my kitties some carb style treats, mainly because a vet told me the following: a high protein diet is really important for cats, but too high of protein for older cats can cause other problems. So, I try to balance it out a little bit. I feel good knowing that my cats get really good quality food and it helps them be healthy.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

I am incorporating this into a healthier grain free diet for a one year old bundle of energy, and a 12 year old guy with UT issues.

They don't like this as much as other dried food I have fed them, which in a way is a good thing. I have read up on dried food and was worried about the quantities they were eating.

The older boy has always demanded biscuits with his wet food. As he isn't too keen on this I can feed him wet food the majority of the time with a handful of dried once a day, when he refuses to eat until he hears the sound of them hitting his bowl!

My cat suffers from skin allergies and other issues so I thought she might respond well to a grain free kibble. She loves it, has great energy and her coat is fabulous. I have no trouble getting her to eat the Wellness brand dry foods.

I have 7 cats that get both wet food and kibble. They all seemed to have a problem with the small, round shape of the Wellness CORE. The pieces seem too small to bite and they roll out of their mouths and all over the floor. I mixed it with their old kibble that had a variety of shapes and after feeding, the CORE was still left in the bottom of the bowl. They ate the shapes first. Maybe they're just supposed to swallow the CORE kibble whole, but my guys like to chew. Unfortunately, this food isn't going to work for them.
