Indoor Health is a well-rounded, solution-focused diet of meats, grains and fruits for cats that live indoors. These cats tend to gain weight (lifestyle is more sedentary), experience dry skin (from continued exposure to indoor air and heat), and have increased hairballs (from constant grooming and hair loss from dry skin).

All of these issues seem worse to their respective owners who interact much more with their indoor cat including a close watch of litterbox use or more lap time. With this in mind, we have focused on lifestyle specific nutrition for healthy and happy indoor cats and their owners.

  • More Nutrition from Every Kibble
  • Reduced Odor from Fecal/Litterbox Smells
  • Weight Management
  • Natural Cranberry Powder to aid in acid urine and bacteria prevention
  • Controlled Ash & Mineral
  • Hairball Management with Omega Fatty Acids and increased Fiber

Additional High Quality Fat Sources
As obligate carnivores, cats need additional Arachidonic Acid (AA), an essential fatty acid for felines that they cannot produce on their own. We combine chicken fat, which has high levels of AA, and olive oil to deliver an optimal fatty acid profile.

Delivery Specific Solutions

  • Excellent fiber source
  • The magnesium level of oat fiber is lower than rice bran, thus helping us to achieve our Magnesium GA of 0.098% Max.
  • Oat fiber is a nutrient-rich and calorie-free, which helps cats feel full longer and reduces cravings

Urinary Tract Health
All formulas focus on the number one reason cats go to the vet and the biggest concern cited by consumers - Urinary Tract Health.

  • Achieve the consistent urine pH of 6.1 to 6.6, with a Standard Error of Mean (SEM) of less than 0.10.
  • Limit the amount of magnesium in the diet to further minimize risk.
  • Promote a healthy urinary tract environment with 3 types of cranberries.

A thoughtful approach to nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing. Delicious, real-foods like deboned meats, free of added hormones and steroids, wholesome grains and fresh fruits and vegetables are all included to provide the perfect balance of protein, energy, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in the healthiest way possible. Every ingredient is carefully chosen for its nutritional benefits providing just what your faithful friend needs for a happier, healthier, longer life.

Wellness Indoor Health Adult Cat Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.

Comments about Wellness Indoor Health Dry Cat Food:

I found Only Natural Pet during some research for something holistic to help my 2 cats with the sniffles they seem to have year round, and in the process, I decided I'd give the Wellness Indoor dry food a try. My female cat, Bella has always had a shiny, silky coat with little shedding. Her "brother", Herbie is just the opposite. His coat has always been rather coarse and dull and he sheds like crazy. He also is the main cause of the horrific smells created in the litter box every day... poor guy. He'd be embarrassed to know I'm telling on him! lol

Herbie and Bella have been eating the Wellness Indoor formula exclusively for 6 months now, and I'm amazed at the difference! Bella's coat is even softer and shinier than before. Her eyes are bright and she's got more energy as well. Herbie is like a different cat. His coat, which I thought was inherently coarse, is now soft. About as soft as Bella's has always been. He is shedding less, his energy level is high and guess what?...the noxious fumes from the litter box every morning are less and less noticeable!

I have always tried to feed my cats the highest quality of food that I can afford. My previous pets have been exclusively Iams cats, but as I became disabled a few years ago, and the economy has gotten so bad, Herbie and Bella had been eating Purina One for about 3yrs. Wellness is most definitely worth the extra money, I just wish I could buy it locally to save the shipping costs.

Bottom line though: If your cats are your children with a couple extra legs, they deserve the best nutrition possible. I have seen first hand what this food has done for my sweeties. We're still working on the sniffles, but thanks to Only Natural Pet, this incredible food, PetAlive Sinu-Rite and the ingenious pocket treats I also found here, they are well on their way to being the happiest and healthiest of their lives! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Comments about Wellness Indoor Health Dry Cat Food:

I have 2 Ragdoll cats....brother and sister....they are 3 years old now and we went thru quite a trail and error to get them the best food. When we got them at 12 weeks old, we put them on Nutro.....they were throwing up bile, had diarrea....I found out on ConsumerAffairs.com that Nutro has had recalls and many, many cats and dogs have gotten very sick and even died while on Nutro. I have no doubt that we dodged a bullet and I immediately switched Angus and Rosie to another premium cat food. Rosie still had loose stools on and off on many very high priced food....until Wellness, that is.

I feed them canned Merrick and a little dry Wellness indoor formula and it is amazing, the transition they have gone thru.
Less shedding, no hairballs, firm stools and virtually no litter box odor, lots of energy, clear, bright eyes, etc. lovely...they are the picture of health!
Please educate yourselves on what you feed your pets.....get online and look out for recalls, etc. Also, a canned premium wet food is always the best choice for their everyday diet....with a little dry, grain free mixed in.

Cats do not eat dry food in the wild and will generally drink very little water if their diet supplies lots of moisture...thru mice, rabbits, etc. The theory of them needing dry food for their teeth is the equivalant of humans keeping healthy teeth by eating pretzels! It just does not work that way....wet, canned food will avoid them developing diabetes and other illness as the years pass.....cut the carbs and give them high quality cat food protein!

Good luck and remember that the food you give your pets is the number ONE factor in good health vs. not so good or even illness.

      Peace to all

I have a cat that has a sensitive digestion and seems to be able to tolerate this one quite nicely. I went through many brands "to try" without much success. This particular cat prefers the dry food over any canned food.

Comments about Wellness Indoor Health Dry Cat Food:

I've had my cat, Harley, for almost 2 years now, and I got her when she was only 2 months old. Over the past year or so she's been having some digestion problems and ends up puking pretty regularly. I called it her "cycle" because she'd be fine for a few weeks, and then she'd throw up every day for a week straight. In the beginning I changed her food quite a few times to see if it'd make a difference, and finally came upon an indoor formula by Purina; she'd still throw up, but not as often as with the other foods. Finally I decided to do some research on pet nutrition, and came across www.onlynaturalpet.com. I read many of the reviews on different foods, and found that most everyone spoke very highly of Wellness brand foods, so I decided to give it a try. First I got her Wellness CORE, but she wouldn't go near it; she'd paw at the floor in a motion as to cover up her bowl (the way they do when they want to cover up their poo with kitty litter or dirt). So I decided to give Wellness Indoor Health a try, and she absolutely loves it! Best of all, no more puking! As the cherry on top, her coat has become so soft and silky, and she's not shedding nearly as much as she was! Plus she's so energetic and seems so happy. I am so excited to have found this food, and so thankful to Wellness.

I've also been feeding her Wellness Healthy Indulgence Entrees and Wellness Pure Delight Cat Treats; she really enjoys the turkey and salmon flavored jerky.

I'm so happy my cat is healthy again, and I have high hopes she'll be that way for a long time! :)

Comments about Wellness Indoor Health Dry Cat Food:

This was the first all-natural dry food I tried with my 13 year old boys and they both loved it! I love that you can smell the cranberries when you open the package ;). They ate it all up, even Tito who tended to take 2 or 3 bites of his old food and then leave, which meant his brother ate both their portions and gained tons of weight. Now that Tito is eating his own his brother is actually losing some weight ;). Their fur has gotten even softer, their litter boxes are less smelly and we've had no problems with hairballs :). I rotated them into the C&P indoor formula, which they're eating but aren't as excited about as the Wellness. I'm interested to try the other flavors of Wellness to see how they like them :). A great product all around!

Comments about Wellness Indoor Health Dry Cat Food:

I have two senior cats who stay indoors. They love this food & eat it as their primary dry food, along with the Wellness canned. Since I've switched them to Wellness I've noticed (among other benefits) smoother, softer, fuller and dander-free coats, clear eyes, less hairballs and more muscle tone. I have even noticed less waste in the litter box and less odor. My 10 and 15 year old show no signs of aging and I hope that stays the same for many years to come.

I highly recommend this food to every pet lover. It is how I show my love for my furry, four legged children, and how I keep them around for as long as possible!
