Orijen Regional Red is biologically appropriate for adult dogs of all breeds. By nature, all dogs are carnivores—evolved for a high-protein diet that’s rich and varied in meats, fruits and botanicals, yet free of the grains and carbohydrates found in today’s dry dog foods.

Orijen’s Regional Red replicates the same rich and diverse balance of fresh meats, fruits, vegetables and grasses that dogs would encounter in their natural environment. Loaded with high inclusions of wild boar, lamb, heritage pork and bison—all raised ‘free-range’ within our region, passed ‘fit for human consumption’ and delivered fresh each day. This formula is free of inappropriate grains and carbohydrates and features regional fruits and vegetables including russet potatoes & black currants from local prairie farms, apples & cranberries from the interior orchards, and organic sea vegetables from the North Pacific tidal range. Caught off Vancouver Island, fresh (never frozen) salmon provide a superb source of Omega-3 (DHA and EPA) that support a vibrant skin and hair coat—your dog's outer symbol of health and vitality. Bridging the gap between good nutrition and peak health, Orijen’s veterinarian selected botanicals include sweet fennel, dandelion root & peppermint leaf—all of which mirror the natural instinct to forage for grasses and weeds while serving to nourish and tone the digestive tract. Made exclusively in our award-winning, family-owned factory, Orijen’s Regional Red is a natural and delicious way to assure the peak health of your dog—no matter what his breed or size.

Comments about Orijen Regional Red Dry Dog Food:

I've had my Seeing Eye German Shepherd dog for almost two years now. In this time period I've tried different brands of so called "high end foods" and she's gotten tired of all of them over a matter of weeks. Her energy hasn't been all there, she's experienced soft stool, and her coat had lost some of its shine. When I started feeding her Orijen about a month ago I could tell she was going to love but I didn't realize how much! Half way through the weaning process she started to eat the Orijen food and leaving the old food. Her stool is now firm, her coat has improved 100%, and her energy level? Well there are no words to describe how energetic she is now. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and my girl does too. If price is no option I highly recommend this food for your pup.

Comments about Orijen Regional Red Dry Dog Food:

My English bulldog loves his Orijen Regional Red. He had all sorts of health issues when we adopted him; however, since he has been on the Orijen Adult or Regional Red...all of his issues have disappeared. He is an incredibly healthy dog. Even my vet is amazed because this breed usually has a lot of health issues. No more with this food! Because there is no filler, his bowel moments have been much smaller. He is an 80 lb. dog so this is wonderful. Overall, he is one happy health dog...not only from the love he receives from our family but because of the wonderful food Orijen has available. P. S. My eight cats are all on Orijen and have been for quite sometime. Their health is great, too!

Its pricey but the old adage holds true. "You get what you pay for". Read through the ingredients list and you will understand where the premium price comes from. It does not get better then this.

He's about 28 to 30 pounds and he gets roughly one cup a day with a few treats added through the day I can't say enough about this food Orijen red probably is the best thing if you want your dog to live a full healthy old age my nine-year-old sheltie eats better than I do and I love to spoil him

Comments about Orijen Regional Red Dry Dog Food:

I have been feeding my Boston Orijen since I brought him home from the Breeder 4 years ago. He started out on the puppy, then went to the fish and now he eats Regional Red. My little guys suffers from poultry and grain sensitivity and when we relocated to FL, he had a terrible reaction to the type of grass down here. Because of this he stopped eating and we needed to find something to entice him to his bowl. We switched to the Regional Red and he has not ignored a meal since. As with most high protein foods, stools can be a bit soft (which isn't a bad thing), I mix in just a small spoon of organic pumpkin puree to help firm him up, as needed. Yes this is a more expensive brand, but it's worth it to know that my dog is getting some of the highest quality ingredients out there. He is beautiful, his coat shinny and he is full of life. Just like with humans, put good in, get good out. Why not have the same for your pet?

My GSD is a picky eater. So I started reviewing dog foods for the best rated nutrition. I figured if he was going to barely eat the recommended amount, it better be GOOD quality. But when I tried Orijen Regional Red, he loved it!
