Deer Shank Bones are a new addition to the popular Good Dog Chews line from ZiwiPeak. Each natural deer shank bone has hair and skin removed, then is soaked for a minimum of 2 hours in 5% salt solution. The shank pieces are covered in beef wesand (windpipe) meat, then dried in a controlled atmosphere and cut to appropriate dog treat sized lengths.
Each deer shank bone treat measures approximately 6 inches long and weighs about 4.6 ounces (130 g). Also available in 5-packs.
