My Yorkie suffers from allergies and her body heats up easily. The Canine Cooler has allowed her to cool off and sleep soundly. She loves it, and I think it has helped her condition.

If you buy this bed, I would recommend getting the cover (must be ordered from the manufacturer). I have had two of these beds, both of which leaked after a while. I don't have cats, so that was not the problem. I think maybe with a cover they would be more protected.

This is my second Canine Cooler. My dog loves it but it developed a mold inside and the mfr. will not replace it. They told me it is a new problem that people have been calling about. I tried putting bleach inside as they recommended but it did not work. Just wanted you to know.

I bought my Canine Cooler a year ago, filled it up once, and it has remained cool and comfortable ever since. Sometimes I even lay on it on a hot day, and it is so soothing. It took my dog awhile to get used to it, but now she loves it. This is so much better for her little body than cooling off on the hard floor!
