My Rottweiler loves this toy. He loves squeaky toys. Chewing and squeaking these toys is one of his favorite pastimes( as you know Rotties have very large teeth). I've purchased these balls for him for the past 2.5 years. They last a long time. A 3 pack of balls lasts us for months. They bounce outside, he likes to catch them then squeak them; indoors he likes to chase them around the house.
As with most toys that are purchased over a long period of time, occasionally we get a bad one. Occasionally, we get a ball that had a weak squeaker or doesn't stand up to his chewing. This is few and far between. I can't say enough good things about this toy.
My little dog destroyed it in one day. She peeled the fuzzy yellow layer off of it revealing the rubber ball underneath. I had to throw it away. She's never done that with regular tennis balls. It's good for playing fetch and it squeaks but don't leave your dog alone with it or she may use it as a chew toy.
Our dog killed all five balls within two weeks! No good for active or large breeds.
Cute ball! Medium size tennis ball that squeaks. Great idea
My year-old Corgi Lula Belle ("Lulu") loves the small size of the ball, and carried it around with her all the time. The only problem was it didn't wear very well; after about 6 months of constant use, the ball started to fall apart. The rubber cracked and began peeling off. I ended-up tossing it out, as I didn't want Lu to accidently swallow any of the pieces. However, while it lasted, it was a great toy, as the "standard/regular" size tennis balls are just too big for her to comfortably carry around in her mouth (not that she doesn't try!) :)
I really liked these balls, and in flyball training my smaller dog will only use these being that she just started. The only real problem is that if you have a persistent chewer, they won't squeak for very long.
