We have been using these Vest Harnesses for about 3 years. We either uses crates when traveling or the harnesses depending on whether we or going to a dog show or traveling. These vest harnesses were put to the test for their true worth when a vehicle in the right hand lane made an abrupt U Turn in front of vehicle. Our vehicle was demolished, these harnesses, truly saved our dogs from being injured. We would recommend them to anyone.
I bought this harness about a year ago for my 2year old pug. I use it for walking him and also I attach it to his car seat. It's perfect!! I got another pug two months ago, and I just purchased my fourth one!
Everywhere I go with my pugs, I get asked where I purchased the harness.
We only use this harness for walking. It is so fast to get on. My dog is a 12 pound Bichon but we needed the size small (15-25 lb.)You can adjust the clips to tighten or loosen so this fits with or without a coat. A great product. Our vet suggested a harness so we would not tug at our dog's neck and this completely solved that problem.
This is a nice harness - well made and comfy fit. However, I ordered the size by my dogs weight and it is almost too small. I made it fit by expanding it as far as it would go. You might want to try the next size up when ordering.
I just received this safety harness & I am thrilled. It is truly a must to have as it could save your beloved dog's life in case of an accident. It is well designed, even stylish, easy to put on & to take off, nicely padded on the inside and most of all our young dog loved it right away : )
I got this product for my new Golden Retriever. I was going to use it as both a walking harness and as a seatbelt for safty in the car. There was no way that I could hook it to the car's seat belt. So I spent more money for a product that I could not fully use.
So far this product seems to be doing what it is meant to do -- keep my 11 lb. dachshund in place. However, it seems to be made more for a lap belt type seatbelt, as opposed to those that cross over a lap and shoulder combination (and I don't think they have made lap belt only types in 10 years). It presses on her back more than I would like. But overall, it works better than lugging a crate in and out of the car.
I bought the 3-in-one vest harness for my arthritic, elderly half-lab and it helped her immensely in going up and down stairs. I could assist her in taking some weight off her front legs without putting any pressure on her throat. She and I both loved it and she wore it until her much-regretted death at 14 years and 3 months. It is much the best harness I know of.
Years ago, I purchased a 'seatbelt' for my rather over-active lab. It was cumbersome and difficult to get on and he managed to chew through it and the seatbelt in my car! The 3-in-1 harness is just great; easy to put on the dog, easy to hook into the seatbelt, and best of all he can't chew it!
I tried a number of harnesses on the market and none seem to fit or satisfy my french bulldog, Tucker. I purchased one of these about a year ago and it is the only harness I will use. It's awesome and I get tons of compliments on it where ever I go. Tucker comes to work with me every day and this is a great seatbelt harness in the car too! He loves to wear it and will lift his paws when I pull out this harness for him.
