Oh, I thought I was going over the top purchasing this product. But my dog loves it! She was not a TV watcher so this was new to her. The change of scenery the animals the over layed sounds that are part of the DVD all help to create an hour plus of pure interest for my dog and yours.
This DVD really worked for my dog!

I was given this DVD as a gift. My dog loves it. I turn the volume down and it is just enough to keep my dog interested. My kids like the DVD too.

I hoped this would be a fun distraction for our dog when we leave him alone. I was glad I previewed it before leaving it running in the empty house, however. The scene changes are punctuated with a doorbell noise that sent my dog running to the front door barking like crazy. He got so wound up that he didn't even notice the video. I can only imagine what would happen if I left it running with the loop function all day! I might try it with no sound, as the footage of dogs is very nice and he might enjoy it if he wasn't running for the door every few minutes.
Only Natural Pet Store Response:As this reviewer suggests, and as other users of The Movie For Dogs have discovered, it may be worthwhile to try playing this DVD with the sound turned down if your dog is very reactive to the sound of the doorbell.
