Great product and protection for my dog.

This product is amazing; I'm not sure how it works, but it does! My dog was a flea magnet, no matter what I tried to protect her with... conventional monthly treatments, collars, shampoos, tablets, etc. I even tried a raw food diet. Nothing worked, all summer she'd itch and bite frantically, causing us both a lot of stress. She's worn the clip a year now, and it's been an incredible improvement; there have only been a couple of flea sightings, and we live in CA flea and tick country. I think it takes a few months for it to be fully effective though. She got a tick a month after first wearing the clip, but hasn't had a problem since, so it's worth sticking with it. And the big bonus is, it's pretty cool looking; form AND function!

This product has been the most amazing help. I live in the tropics with high tick infestation and in years past we even have had them crawling up the walls in our house, the kennels were infested and we had to use almost nuclear warfare to rid ourselves of those beasties. The dogs were treated monthly with a well known tick product and three monthly with the collar. The kennels and house were regularly cleaned and disinfected with chemical products and still they would insist of coming back. Now all our dogs (13 of them) wear the TIC-CLIP and have done for the last five months. And were we normally would have 30 or more of the ghastly ones on a non-treated dog, they are now virtually tick free. In a week I might find 2 or 3 on the whole pack. That's why I gave it 4 stars, rather than 5, as it is only 98% effective. But with our history, I call this a triumph!!! I can only say good things about this product, not to have to poison my dogs regularly is the best thing, but also it's so much more cost effective. It might seem dear at first glance, but if one adds up the chemicals, collars and time it takes, it really works out well.

We live in SW Florida where the ticks are extreme. I would normally remove 10 to 12 tics from my dog on a daily basis. Since using the Tick Clip, my dog is now tick free. Occassionally a tick will try to attach itself to my dog, but it is unable to do the force field of the tic clip. The tick clip in combinatin with the brewers yeast and garlic tabs has made my dog and my home tic free. What a great affordable choice without the use of dangerous nurotoxin topicals which do not work anyway. Thank you so much Natural Pet Store for these amazing items.

I live in Central NJ and thought I would have to go back to Frontline to keep my cat tick-free, but I'm surprised and happy to say that with this product, my cat is chemical and tick-free.

this is such a great product! We live in the Northeast where ticks are a huge problem. Since putting the tick clip on my dogs (I'm a long time user) I have yet to find a tick on either of them!
Tics have been really awful here this summer. I was finding them on our dogs despite my putting Advantix on them. I got the Tic-clip out of desperation to use along with the Advantix. I don't know if it is a fluke or not but I have not found any Tics on them since I put the tags on them about a month ago. I think it is worth a try!
At first it worked great but now it is not. Could be the Florida flea is tougher than most?

Almost every day this spring I had to remove tics from my dog.I bought the tic-clip because I don't like to use chemicals on him. There hasn't been one tic on him since I put it on and I recomended it to a friend
No need to use chemicals on your pet. I have 4 dogs and the Tic-Clip has successfully kept fleas and tics away.

I bought the tic clip in hopes of finding an alternative to the chemicals that stain my dog's hair. However, even after his wearing it constantly for 3 months, I have found 200% MORE ticks on my dog than the previous summer, without changing any of his habits or habitats. I'm leaving it on his collar, but will be adding the regular flea and tick medication along with it.
My one year old Irish Setter has been wearing the tag in combination with a C&P Herbal flea collar for two months and so far I have not found a single flea or tick on him. After testing it, I will now get two more for my puppy and senior Dogs. The price could be a bit lower so more people try it... however front line is close to the amount is quite toxic for my senior dog (causes skin issues) and does not last two years.

We were very hopeful that the tic clip would be a valuable alternative to what can be inconvenient, messy, and strong scented natural tick preventatives, as well as the worrisome toxic preventatives - but it has not worked at all... Have seen no difference in ticks' attraction to our dog, nor their desire to stay on him. Very disappointing.
At first I was skeptical, but it has proven to be very effective. Just keep in mind, it does take between 5-20 days to start working. You'll never go back to those other medications like Frontline. The best part is it's natural!
My dog has been wearing the tic clip for 3 months and it hasn't helped at all. We have a LOT of ticks where we live, but this clip hasn't seemed to cut down on the number of ticks on my dog at all. I just took nine ticks off of her head.
So safe and no side effects.

We purchased this at the recommendation of a fellow dog owner at our Vet's office. So far, great! I don't completely understand how it works, but prior to using the Tic Clip we were removing ticks from our puppy daily - two and three a night! We live in a heavily wooded area of New England where Lyme Disease in dogs is very common and problematic. I have only pulled off two ticks in the three weeks we've used the Tic Clip. It is important to follow the instructions included in the packaging - both silver rings need to be attached for the clip to be effective. It seems a great value if it does indeed work for two years. Time will only tell, but I am pleased we don't have to use any products on the market that contain pesticides and other harmful ingredients.
So far so good. I live in the Catskills upstate NY. The ticks can get pretty bad. So far since the collars have been on my two large dogs I haven't seen one. The real infestation period in the woods is still about a month away so time will tell if they remain effective.

We live in a heavily-wooded area and I really had very high hopes this would work! We hate using poisons on our dogs and spending less than $50 on a tick product is a miracle... I carefully followed the instructions but we kept finding more ticks than ever (around their eyes, inside the ears and paws). Sadly, we ditched this product and used an arsenal of: garlic in their food, non-toxic, DEET-FREE bug spray, a flea and tick shampoo containing neem oil and eucalyptus plus an herbal collar. Rarely do we now find a tick on our dogs!

One of my dogs is a flea magnet. And no allopathic - Advantage, etc. - seemed to curtail the fleas. So we've tried this and so far, no fleas!
I was slightly sceptical of this product but hate putting flea drops on my dog, even though the vet says they are harmless she gets very distressed. Ella has had the tic clip on for almost three weeks, no sign of a flea or tic, we live in Florida and she is usually tormented at this time of year.
I must add that I think her home cooked diet, with a vitamin supplement also makes her less appealing to parasites.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the clip, it works and is cost effective, given the price of the drops. No cons that I can think of, it even looks nice !!.
We had major flea problems with our two older dogs (who have now passed away); so when our vet said that our new young dog was allergic to fleas, we felt desperate and ordered this product.
We are SO amazed to find that it actually works! We were using the chemical flea applications, plus giving baths twice a week to our older dogs and also to our new dog, but still they all had fleas all the time.
Now all we do is keep the Tic Clip on our dog, and he NEVER gets even one flea. We only remove the tag when he's getting a bath, and then we put it back on right after. We've used the Tic Clip for about 5 months.
We also use the Brewer's Yeast & Garlic Tablets.

I am looking forward to testing this product in the spring, when the fleas and ticks are out in force. So far, so good this winter. The downside is that the instructions are all in German - I had to have a friend translate. What you need to know is that the little rings that come with the circle are just as important as the circle! Unfortunately, I threw mine out, except for one to attach each circle to my dogs' collars. In order for the circle to be effective, you must use the rings (one two or three) to attach to the dogs' collars.
Have not seen a flea or tick since the first week of use. In Florida both insects are plentiful so it is getting it's workout.
Only one problem.........instructions are in German.
I had to go online and find a web site that I could get a translation on the info.
The supplier should have instructions in English.

I was reluctant to try this product because I don't really understand how it works to repel fleas. But my two small dogs were so miserable and scratching themselves constantly, despite frequent bathing and applications of flea-killing products. I don't like using strong chemicals in my house so I decided to try the product. ~~ I have been very pleased so far. Within less than a week my dogs had stopped scratching themselves. I still don't understand how the product works but I am pleased to know that my dogs are no longer suffering the torment of flea bites. The product description says it will work "up to 2 years". If that is true the cost is only a little more than one dollar per month, which is quite a good value. I would definitely recommend the product to others.

At first, I thought the product didn't work. My dog continued to get ticks on her for the first month. Then one day I found two on her, already dead, strange, because she had nothing topical on her. After that, no more. She and I are both endlessly grateful for a chemical free answer to flea and tick trouble.

We live in a rural area with young, healthy dog. Tried it for ticks and we followed instructions. We'd comb her about once a week during tick season. First time = about 30 ticks. Second combing = about 27 ticks. And so on. We cannot recommend it.

I was going to be visiting a southern CA beach town with my two small dogs. My friend who lives there all summer recommended the usual liquid type vet/store product and said it was "a must." She treated her dog with that, as she always does, and her dog still got fleas - and she had to have her condo fumigated. I took my chances on the Tic-Clip, combined with the Herbal Defense Spray and my dogs had no fleas. They were walked at least three times daily in grassy areas with all kinds of vegetation (flowers, grass, cacti, pine trees, dirt walkways, bushes) and encountered many other dogs there as well as general sidewalk areas in town. I did not take them on the sandy beaches, so I can't comment there. I was thrilled with our results. The Herbal Defense Spray has a very pleasant smell, and because they are smaller dogs, I actually sprayed it on my hands and rubbed it on their legs, tummies and necks to see how they would react. All fine. Thank you for your very good customer service and great products.

Great product. I have a hunting dog mix breed who loves to run in the acres of woods behind our house. He has been spot flea/tick treatment free for about 3 months. Over the past 2 months when he would run in the woods we would find several ticks on him daily. I put the tic clip on him about 3 weeks ago and he has been tick free since!
