Great product!!

This is a great alternative to the chemicals on the market. My girlfriend and I switched (at first with some hesitance)when we saw the flea treatment eat through a glove! Could you imagine what it does to a dogs liver or kidneys! I've been using this for about 5 years now and I think it works as good or better than the other chemicals! And it's 4-5 times cheaper!!!!

I used this product on my five dogs ( Chow, Lab mix, Rottie-Lab mix, fluffy Parson Russel mix and Pitt-Border Collie mix with medium lenght hair). The smell was overwelming the first day. My hubby and I got headaches. The smell did subside a lot the following day though. Also there were oily stains on the furniture wherever the kids leaned against. They stopped itching for three days. My Pitt mix girl got an irritation that wasn't too severe but did require some unti-infflamatory meds. On the day four everybody (except for Chow)started to itch again. I'm very dissapointed in this product. I really hoped that it would work 'cuz I don't want and would hate to use pesticide and insecticide containing products on my babies. Having five furry kids and being pregnant I need something natural that works fast. So now I'm at loss...

Only Natural Pet Store Response:We cannot stress enough the importance of test pacthes when using this product since results are so varied. It is so popular because its easy- but with some effort other products like the flea powder and defense sparay are highly effective.

I wouldn't put chemicals all over my body, and I don't want to do that to my dog, Malaki. I was delighted to find this natural oil repellent, that really works. It is important to reapply at least the once monthly per the directions, and in the heat of summer, I may do it every three weeks. But it has been very effective in keeping my dog tick and flea free.

I started with a skin test because I have a beagle that has sensitive skin. Neither of my dogs had an adverse reaction after 24 hours so I applied half a tube to each of my dogs. I have smaller dogs and opted to do half a tube on each dog every two weeks and it seems to be doing the trick. I did find one flea on my miniature schnauzer last night but, it had been over two weeks so they just got a fresh dose. The smell is powerful but pleasant. My dogs are actually like little air fresheners for a couple of days. haha! I am glad I decided to give this a try. I have been a dedicated frontline plus user for years and was looking for a healthier, more natural option since my beagle suffers from many health conditions including siezures. I will buy this product again and would recommend it to others.

This product really works. The odor is a strong natural oil smell, but it's not bad. It works the entire month and we've not found 1 flea or tick (none have even hitched a ride inside!) since we've used this product. Will definitely buy more. Super alternative to harsher treatments and the cost is fantastic.

Very easy to apply and I like the aroma, no chemical smell at all. My dogs don't have a problem with the smell either as they did with the toxic ones. So far I am using it as a preventive and have not been using it that long (only one time) to critique if it is totally effective. I do like it very much so far though.

I like this product. I can't vouch for it's effectiveness yet since I haven't been outside in the park with my dogs. The heat here in Arizona prevents that. The odor was very strong for the first day or two, but after that, it was nice to come home and smell the oils. My dog's coats were soft and smelled nice for months after.

I've used this the past 3 months during tick season in Nebraska, and have not found a single tick on my Old English Sheepdog since - which is impressive considering his thick coat. Also I even used the "15-40 lb" version, and it worked just fine for my 70 lb dog, and seemed to last upwards of 5-6 wks.

Prior to using, the groomers would find 2-3 ticks. NOTE: this product does not KILL the ticks like Frontline - but it does deter them really well. The drawback to this is the ticks abandon him and look for me, as I've found them on my bed & head since he's no longer a safe harbor. The good thing about this is that Sentry is not a carpet bomb treatment like frontline - there's no need to infuse your dog with pesticides to the point where their blood is seething with the stuff to make anything that touches it die on contact. Why dont you just wrap your dog in electric fencing for that matter.

I used this product because it was all natural - but it caused so much irritation on my 3 Great Danes that I have to take them to the vet today. Itching, scratching, huge red bumps all along the application site. The irritation is significant and causes a lot of pain for them - one cries each time I touch his back. These are huge blister-like bumps that bleed. Not happy at all.

Only Natural Pet Store Response:Please do not forget to test spot- especially on short haired animals or those known to have sensitive skin.

I tried this on two dogs. One tolerated it ok, but the other had an instant reaction. Whining, scratching, rubbing, etc. The product caused a rash and I immediately bathed the dog. It took several days to get back to near normal. Recently a neighbor related the same experience with one of her two dogs that she used it on.

I was hesitant to try this product after seeing some of the negative reviews. Yes, it does have a very strong odor for a few days (but so do other flea prevention products. Yes, it did leave a little oily patch for a few days, but so do other products. Overall, I am pleased and would reccommend it to other pet owners. I know the product doesn't "wear off" as my dog has been swimming twice since the initial application and I can still detect the faint smell of the product and it is just now time to re-apply. I also love the fact that it is all natural which is my main reason for buying it.

I have found that at this point we need to use it every two weeks and it took two applications to see a huge difference. Now instead of 10+ ticks daily I am finding maybe one or two a week, so in my book it is working VERY well, even with the toxic flea/tick controlers you still get a few ticks. The only con is that we have to crack our windows the first day we put it on them because the smell will drive you crazy. After a couple of days the smell is almost nonexistent. It's not that it smells BAD but it is just strong. I will keep using this product!

I figured since I like to hike in the woods I would try the all natural option and so far so good! I also love the spice scent. We have been hiking deep into wooded areas and I check my dog everytime we come out. So far not one tick on him nor fleas. Love the product and much better option than chemicals.

I felt as though it was a safer alternative than the other kinds with chemicals. I had no problems with irritation or anything else. I realize different pets can react differently just like humans taking meds. Please check a small are before applying the whole tube. I buy this year after year!!!

I thought I would try this because I don't like having to use chemicals on my dogs but I was so dissapointed. The first thing I didn't like was the smell, it was VERY strong , my entire house stunk. One of my dogs started itching about a day after the application, and she got a rash on her stomach. When I used a flea comb on them, I found a few fleas, and decided it just wasn't working. It might be ok if you live in an area without a lot of fleas and your dog doesn't go out to dog parks, or be out side a lot, but I wouldn't recommend it other wise.

I was very disappointed with this product. It said it was natural and would get rid of fleas & ticks.

This product caused a red "measles-like" rash all over genitals, rear end, legs and feet of my (2)-12 month old Schnoodles. It was awful and iched them all the time. I had to purchase medication to help them and bathed them often. It also caused yellow stain on my white dog that would not wash off! And,...worst of all,...it did not rid the dogs of fleas at all! The fleas seem to increase on dogs and all of them moved to the genital area, rear-end and legs of the dogs!

This was a waste of my money. I bought (2) packages and am going to return (1) package that has not been used. Hopefully, I will get my money back.

Sorry, but I cannot recommend this natural product to others and the smell is very strong!!!

Decided to give this a try after using the Frontline Plus for the past couple years. It seems to work every bit as good as the frontline, and I'm very pleased that it does not contain any of the toxic and potentially harmful pesticides that are in the other flea-prevention products commonly used. Yes, the smell is rather strong and tends to linger for several days, but I personally like it (gives hubby a headache though) and it doesn't seem to bother the dogs. I haven't noticed any adverse reactions to the product thus-far. Definitely will use again.

I am extremely pleased with this product. I have searched and searched for natural anti-tick concoctions and am pleased with Sentry's product. I can't believe a major industrial mfr made one to be honest and I was skeptical at first but tried it when I read reviews here. I use this product on 3 very large dogs (140, 120 and 90 pounds each) who are active in a known high tick area. NO TICKS AT ALL THIS YEAR. ZERO. I must add however that I take two other (natural) precautions. 1) I apply rose geranium essential oil to their collars as well. 2) I also spray the yard with something to deter ticks that is herbal. But these dogs are in other places often without that scented collar on and still NO TICKS! I am allergic to common pet products with insecticides and even some human bug sprays so am very pleased to find a natural product THAT WORKS! The one thing some users might not enjoy is the very very strong peppermint / clove type scent that lasts for 3-4+ days. Me? I do not care ... my dogs and my family are healthy and safe and that matters the most. Also, my white dog ended up with a faint yellowish mark as a stripe but this does not bother me ... might bother you. Please note that I have a feeling it really does run out at the 4 week mark so do not delay in applying the next dose. Even with these gentle "con's", I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! I hope you found this review useful - please note that in other years before I found this product, I ended up with ticks on me (one had me on antibiotics) and I am PARANOID about getting them. This gives you an idea about how pleased I am personally with this product. :-)

I absolutely regret applying this to my dog. He is miserable! About an hour after I put it on him he became severely irritated. He will not sit still for 3 seconds, he is continuously whining and crying. He is also gagging. I don't know what to do about it besides give him a bath. My skin on my face also seems to be irritated by it... and this is not the first time. I don't care if it is all natural or helps with fleas. This is torture. I say, don't take a risk...

This product works very well on my 2 1/2 yr old pit bull terrier. I previously used Revolution and it caused a horrific reaction where she lost her fur in the treatment area. The Sentry works like it says it will and hasn't bothered my dog at all. I've been using it about a year now. It does have a pungent smell of herbs but I found if you put it on before bed it is diminished by morning. It is not a "bad" smell.

This stuff works better than Frontline and is chemical free! I have pomeranians and one of them has skin problems. She had NONE with this and it got rid of the fleas instantly! The only fleas I found after applying were dead! I dont know about ticks as I am in the city and we dont have any problems with it. But for fleas its the best and so much cheaper than frontline!!

Both of our dogs and I cringed when other fleas & tick products were applied. My husband refused to apply the product! But that was before hearing about Sentry. Now we all welcome the 15th of each month because we know the dogs are being protected with a safe, effective and "natural" product.

Thank you so much for caring about our pets (almost as much as we do) :-) AND making these products available for us. Plus your customer service department is wonderful! They make the time to answer every question imaginable...

Sincerely,

Peter & Elisabeth Swiriduk

I have 4 dogs (20-40 lbs) from 3-12 years old. We back onto wetland and marsh area that is all natural and heavily treed. I know there is no way that anything will completely get rid of all mosquitoes/ticks/fleas due to the area that we live in unless it's chemical based. The fleas take a few days to die from the oil, so I will probably see a few, but they don't last long. Also, I apply 1/2 the amount, twice as often which seems to keep a more consistent scent on the dogs. I tried using something else, and we had 100 times more fleas - so while it's not perfect, it does make a huge difference and it's not a harmful chemical, and it's a great mosquitoe repellent too. There is nothing "natural" that is a miracle - you have to be willing to compromise for the health of your pets.

I am Disabled and have a Service Dog who goes into the public with me daily. I have always hated the chemical drops.. and Found this product several years ago and began using it... not just because it is not a chemcial but because it works great and it is so safe. ... for the humans we encounter daily. Children and adults of all ages tend to be unable to resist petting my girl when they meet us.. and I am thrilled knowing that even the youngest hands are safe from chemicals when they pet my speical dog.

the only time i have found a flea is when my health has kept us from returning home in time to get her treatment.

But when on this with out fail.. the fleas, flies and other bugs just stay away.

I am satisfied with this product. I am a lover of lemongrass, so I actually like the smell of this produce while others find it offensive!! So far, so good - Nannie (norwegian elk) does not seem to be having any major problems with fleas - once in a while I will see her scratching, but when I go to check her out (which is frequently) I find no evidence of any fleas. So I will continue to use this product until we have some type of problem!!

I used this product on my larger dog (just over 50 pounds) and it does seem to have worked at repelling ticks and fleas. He has not had either bite him since using the product. Even I got a tick but last week! The problem I have is that it is very strong and the line I put it on his back started peeling a week after I put it on and has continued to do so. It has a very strong cinnamon odor when yo put it on your pet, but my dog did not seem to mind. He was not acting uncomfortable or trying to get it off of him. I had no idea that it had any side effect until he started to peel, so I am guessing he did not feel burning at the application time. We are going to try it on my brother's lab since he has a more hearty skin and coat. My dog has very sensitive skin to start with and the chemical tick repellents never caused him to peel. It does work, but just be careful if you have a sensitive animal.

I have a mostly white haired dog, and had read that some dogs with similar hair had a colored streak when using this product. My dog had NO irritation or dyed spots in her hair. She has only used one squeeze tube so far, but I think if it really does deter bugs, I am going to use it forever. The smell was nice, it is all natural, and way cheaper than the chemical filled alternatives! Woohoo for this natural option.

I am so glad there is a natural flea & tick product available! I have been using Natural Defense since the spring and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to put toxic chemicals on my dog to keep her protected! It works really well. She spends a lot of time outdoors, in the woods and the creeks, and I haven't found a single bug on her. It has a strong potpourri smell for the first few days, but I don't mind it. It sure beats chemical smell.

This product should be used in conjunction with the All-in-on Flea Remedy, that is why I've given it four stars. On its own, it will not rid you of all fleas especially in the south where they are vicious.

It smelled really strong for 2-3 days, but faded after that. The smell wasn't awful, just noticeable. The dog didn't seem to care, however.

Bottom Line:

Was so excited to find an all-natural product to use on my dogs. My pug is highly sensitive to everything so I made the incorrect assumption that an all-natural product would be okay -- WRONG! I just spent 30 minutes outside sloughing all the hair off of him - my backyard looked like it had snowed in July. There were white flakes in his fur as well and he was very very itchy. My lab/mix had black "dirt" under her fur and it fell out in clumps as well. The smell stayed in the house for DAYS and was not pleasant at all. Very disappointed that this product did not work :-(

The smell is amazing. It's like putting potpourri on your pet. It's a little oily on the coat because...well, it's oil, so I rubbed it into the rest of the coat after initial application to reduce the 'oil slick' look. There was some hair loss at the 'major' application site (shoulders and tail base). However, it was only lost from the undercoat (shihpooh)and only noticeable during a bath. However, I haven't seen a flea on my pup since I started using Sentry.

I was having a tick problem before using this product and it has since disappeared. I also have not seen any fleas on any of them and one of them spends a good part of the day outside. I also love the smell (kind of like cloves and other spices) that lingers on your pet and throughout the house for a few days.

When reading all the negative comments about this product I paused a moment, but decided to try it anyway. My dog has food allergies, but I feed her a high grade dog food. The smell of this product is not offensive, there was no bad reactions. There was a yellowish stain on her all-white fur, but I washed her after 48 hours and it came out. I use this product in conjuction with the Herbal Defense Shampoo & Conditioner. Have no complaints, and am glad to use something natural on my dog.

It works just as well as the harsh, smelly poisons and where my dogs didn't enjoy their treatment before they sit and stay put no problem now. I don't have to smell bug spray for four days and they aren't bothered in the least by the natural smell.

I try to care for my animals holistically as much as possible and have major problems putting the other stuff on them. However, we are in the deer tick capital of the country so I do have to use something. Natural Defense is a product that I feel much better about putting on my dogs. The smell is very strong for the first few days, as others have noted, but to me that is a small sacrifice to make to be able to use a safer product. The smell dissipates after a few days and the remaining light smell is pleasant. It works just fine too.

I have a seven year old male Akita. I recently moved to Virginia, where deer ticks carry lime disease. I ordered two boxes of this product. Initial application did not seem to deter the ticks at all. I then tried doubling the recommended application. I counted three new ticks on my hound in the following two weeks. This product has not worked at all for me and my dog. I am ordering a non-natural flea/tick repellant as I write this. On a side note, the product does smell nice, but will discolor (temporarily) your dog's coat if it is light in color.

My younger cat Tikki did run around and try to lick it off, but there was no hair loss. I took someones suggestion from the reviews on this site, that stated they applied half the tube, and then the other half 2 weeks later. This seems to work fine. My dog harley, had a better reaction to it then with frontline. He was not as thursty, and did not hid under the table after I applied it. However, it has turned his white coat yellow, but if that is the only side affect, I will stick with all natural. I will continue to use it and will comment at a later date with the results.

I initially bought this as an alternative to the other leading flea items. I liked that it had natural ingredients. I didn't like that I really couldn't get the product down to the skin level by time you get through the dogs coat. A good deal of it ends up on their coats and then because it sits there on top, it collects dirt and the dogs look dirty. However, this product does at least smell better than the other leading flea products. I didn't find it that effective though. Sorry Sentry!

I really like that Sentry Natural Defense is all natural. I feel so much better putting this on my pet than one of those chemical products. However after several monthly doses of Sentry all four of my dogs continue to have fleas on their underside---chest, stomach, inside of hind legs and at the base of the tail. The parts of the body closest to where the Sentry was applied are flea-free: shoulders, neck and head. I would like to note that I had been using Frontline for the past several years (and always felt guilty about putting a potentially dangerous product on my pet) with the same results as Sentry: fleas remained on some areas of the body, but not near the point of application.

Still has fleas
By JoniVerified Purchaser from Ft. Denaud, FL on 8/4/2007
Cons:
Ineffective
Describe Yourself:
Long-time Pet Owner

Maybe it is because we live in Florida, or maybe because he is such a big dog (105lbs, or maybe I just am not using it correctly... but poor Jake is still being driven crazy by fleas. I do know that it works some because I assume that there are less fleas on him since there are more on me.

works great!
By EveVerified Purchaser from Sherman, Texas on 7/30/2007
Pros:
Effective, Gentle, Good Value, Long-Lasting
Best Uses:
Larger Pets
Describe Yourself:
Long-time Pet Owner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I switched to this after wanting to get away from the chemical squeeze-on applications that my vet sells. I have a 105lb German Shepherd, live in Texas where it's flea and tick heaven and it works great! My dog is outdoors several hours each day. The smell is strong at first, but I kind of like the smell and my dog does not seem to mind. Not sure if I would put it on my cats, because the smell might be too intense. I just flea comb them regularly and that works fine.

Nice smelling product for flea & ticks
By Steve & LynnVerified Purchaser from Montgomery, IN on 7/30/2007
Pros:
Gentle, Nice smell
Cons:
Wears Out
Describe Yourself:
Long-time Pet Owner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We like the fact that this product does not contain chemicals. And, we like the smell. It is not quite as effective as the previous product we used that did contain chemicals because we did find 1 tick on our German Shepherd while using this product. We have been using this product for about a year.

Skin irritation/HORRIBLE SMELL

Cons:
Causes Irritation, The smell was awful
Describe Yourself:
Sorry pet owner
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My dog's skin was red and irritated where the product was applied, but worse (so far-keeping a close eye on the skin irritation) was the smell! It gave me a nasty headache and sore troat. I had to wash it off the same day I applied it. I will never buy this again and would tell others not to buy it.

This product gave my cat MASSIVE diarrhea, made him sneeze, and smell bad. I applied it 4 days ago, and he is still having bad bathroom issues and scratching like crazy. Now the other cats don't want any thing to do with him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!

By DeniseVerified Purchaser from Royal Oak, MI on 7/13/2007
Cons:
Causes Irritation

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My maltese, who weights about 7 lbs, had an allergic reaction to this. Be careful at first, maybe try a small amount before putting the whole application on to see how it goes. His reaction was running around the house going crazy scratching; I put him in the tub and bathed him to get it off and he was ok after that.

By SherlVerified Purchaser from Seguin, Tx. on 7/3/2007

Best Uses:
Once a month
Describe Yourself:
Long-time Pet Owner, Love our Mandy, Want natural products
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have been using another popular flea & tick product but it seemed to iritate our Mandy. She would hide for a day after application & I felt like it was poison going into my dogs body. I was so grateful to find something natural that would also take care of the mosquitoes. She didn't mind at all, seems to be working well, and she smells so good and makes the whole house smell good. Keep up the good work. The price is great also, especially for retired people.

This is a safe and healthy alternative product to frontline. I have been using this on my dogs for two years now and have not seen one tick or flea on them. It smells great and gives me satisfaction knowing I am not harming my animals. That fact it is so reasonably price is just a bonus.

great alternative to chemicals
By KatVerified Purchaser from Medford, WI on 6/24/2007
Pros:
Effective
Describe Yourself:
Long-time Pet Owner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was a little apprehensive at first, reading the reviews of hair loss. But I do not use chemicals on my dogs so a little hair loss wasn't going to be so bad. After first applications on my 2 Pomeranians, I anticipated the gobs of hair falling out, but nothing, no reactions, no hair loss and a pleasant smell. I do feed my dogs high-grade, human-grade dog food, though, not the cheap store-bought junk I find all over. I do believe because my dogs are healthy, they have no reactions to natural products.

This stuff is great!

I switched to this because I have twoShelties who react adversely to chemical products and I don't trust Frontline because of risk of seizures. I used this and my dogs have no fleas and they smell like oatmeal cookies! No bad reactions and I can be assured that it's safe!

Bad Skin Irritation w/ Scabs & Bad Smell
By AngieVerified Purchaser from Marysville, WA on 5/30/2007
Cons:
Causes Irritation
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My dog had his first topical reaction with this. His skin got irritated and eventually scabbed up at all points where it was applied. The rest of his skin got dry, flaky, red, and smelled. I ended up having to get antibiotics and special skin infection shampoo for him. I will never use this again.

I love this product!
By TVerified Purchaser from Concord, North Carolina on 5/7/2007
Pros:
Effective, Gentle, Good Value, Long-Lasting
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I'm in my second season of using this product on my standard poodle. Although she was never infested, I've seen no sign of ticks or fleas even after switching from the highly toxic flea/tick meds sold at the vet. I recommend to everyone I know who's interested in a natural and non-toxic alternative to flea/tick prevention.

Bad for dogs skins
By R.C.Verified Purchaser from Fall River Ma. on 5/2/2007
Pros:
Effective, I think it was effective
Cons:
Causes Irritation, Dry flakey skin, Rashes, Red rash along backs
Best Uses:
I won't use it again
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought two three packs for my two shelties to have each thier own supply. I put one on them and the smell is so strong ( not pleasant) and the next day along BOTH thier backs were red irritated rashed dry and flaky paths on them ! I couldn't believe it. My vet warned me I didn't listen. I tired washing it off it didn't work, I treated them for their dry flaky skin for awhile and threw out the rest of the package, i won't even give that to a shelter !

I will never ever put that stuff in any form on my dogs again ! I am sorry I did.

Ineffective
By PekLoverVerified Purchaser from Texas on 4/26/2007
Cons:
Ineffective
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

While the fleas no longer travelled the path along the dogs' backs, they still continued to attack their legs, necks, and tails. There was no evidence of 'killing' fleas at all, just forced them elsewhere on the pooches.

Decent Natural Alternative
By PersonVerified Purchaser from US on 3/28/2007
Pros:
Good Value, Natural
Cons:
Causes Irritation, Stong Scent
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The smell is very overwhelming at first, smells like a really strong cinnamon candle. I only needed to use half of the tube since my dog is 5 pounds and I was using the "up to 15 pound" tube. Shortly after applying it did leave the skin irritated and pink at the application site. Because of the irritation I washed my dog right away after the 24 hours. It seemed to work fine. No fleas, keeps the mosquitos away too, and we reapply about every 4 to 5 weeks during flea season.

By Westie LoverVerified Purchaser from Santa Cruz, CA on 3/26/2007
Pros:
Gentle
Cons:
Discolors whitefur color
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Our white fur West Highland Terriers had large area of brown fur at collar area and down back about 4" x 6" from oil discoloration. It does not wash out, even over a 30 day period. Would like manufacturer to remedy this.

Great Natural Alternative
By PDVerified Purchaser from Azusa, CA on 12/12/2006
Pros:
Effective, Gentle, Good Value, Smells great
Best Uses:
Larger Pets, Older Pets, Smaller Pets

Great Natural Alternative. I used it in combination with Brewers yeast and garlic tablets and the itching stopped within a day. My dogs smell great too! They do not run away, like they did when I applied the chemical treatment. Only disadvantage is that i need to apply it every three weeks for effectiveness. It is still a great deal.

I will buy this product again
By Heavenly SchnauzersVerified Purchaser from Cave Junction, OR on 11/20/2006

Problem with product
By Jennifer ClaytonVerified Purchaser from Avila Beach, Ca on 10/20/2006

This product made my dog's fur fall out and
the skin became irritaded and sloughed off.

hair loss with Pug as well
By ClaireandRoofusVerified Purchaser from Seattle, WA on 9/25/2006
Pros:
Natural approach
Cons:
Very strong smell

For only being 15-40 lbs application there was a lot in the tube. It made my whole house smell like citronella, way too strong scented for my dog too. I wanted to wash it off as soon as i put it on- USE CAUTION. My Pug is highly allergic and developed hair loss shortly after the application, not 100% sure if this was the culprit. If anyone has same experience let me know.
