I work as a veterinary assistant and have knowledge about the wide array of pet food brands there are out there. I am very picky about what I feed them and read the labels thoroughly. I have confidence in Castor and Pollux. They provide excellent sources of protein, nutrients, and my cats love the way it tastes! (Even the best food isn't good if the pet won't eat it!)
We have two indoor cats and two barn cats. I give this to all four and they all love it. My indoor cats (age 3yrs) had difficulty with UTI's and this food seems to help. The barn cats (age 6 months) adore it also! I love my pets and because we only feed them organic food I NEVER need the vet! "You are what you eat!"
This food is more expensive than regular food but definitely worth the extra cost for peace of mind (not worrying about scary recalls) and knowing that my cat is getting a very nutritious meal. Plus, she loves the taste!
I want to feed them organic canned food, and my cats didn't like the other organic foods available. Most of the time 3 out of 4 of them will eat this, but sometimes not. Though more expensive than most foods, the superior ingredients are worth paying for (peace of mind).
some flavors are just lik human food, good enough for even me to eat!
I started looking for a quality organic food since the recall scare & this is the food I recommend. My cat is crazy about the canned & dry food of organix. In fact when I first put the bag of dry food in the pantry he opened the door to get to it & then tried to chew threw the bag! The price is also reasonable compared to what I used to pay for iams.
