I've been trying to get my MaineCoon on a good holistic diet, but he hasn't been all that fond of the foods we've tried including: Wellness, Spot's Stew, Evo, Solid Gold, and BLUE spa select. He likes the wet in all those brands, but finding a dry that he can actually crunch on and enjoys the taste of has been a challenge. He hasnt liked the taste of most foods and they are not enjoyable for him, b/c of his large mouth. He ends up swallowing it all whole or getting the little size kibble stuck in his gums. That's very distressing for him. But, w/ the California Natural, I can hear him crunching away and the best part is he LOVES the taste!!! Before, all he would eat was the Royal Canin MaineCoon food b/c of the taste and king sized kibble, but when I put out the Cal. Nat food he immediately wanted to chow down!!! I had to stop him and mix it with the other food so that the switch wasn't too quick to give him an upset stomach, but he kept picking it out and eating only it, so I had to put a tiny little amount in a bowl next to his other food for a week or so, gradually increasing the amount, to make the transition. I wholeheartedly recommend this food to anyone with a finicky, or large cat. I think the shape is great for their teeth too!

I have 3 cats all of which have some health issues.
I think I have tried just about every food out there at some point and time while trying to figure out who had problems with what. Actually took a few years to get it all figured out.
One eats mainly raw due to health issues other two are able to eat some dry.
One with dry in morning and raw at night the other gets dry with canned and occassional raw when I can get her to eat it.
This is the only dry I have found so far for them that doesn't give them problems.
Even my raw food eater will get a meal or two in a pinch but not often.
I think it is a very good basic food esp for pets with any issues.
This has been my experience with it anyway.

My cat is very finiky and he loves this food. I like the ingredients because they are healthy and high in protien. He eats his favorite wet food early and is happy to nibble on this dry food throughout the day without gaining weight. I carefully read all the labels before I buy anything for my cat. I would recommend this product.

What happened to the great zip-lock bags? Cats live for that freshly opened new bag- you had one up on the others. Please packaging is what got me
started on the cat food, had already been using
the dog food. BRING BACK THE ZIP!

All 5 cats like this food. My male MaineCoon, who had diahhrea for three years, stopped upon changing to this food. Don't know why. I had tried many other brands, but for some reason this one worked. We all love it.

Natura Pet Products have been a steady shining light in all our cats lives! I am so happy to have found all natural, healthy and tasty pet food that everyone loves. They all eat a daily combo of 80% EVO Grain Free Dry and 20% Sweet Potato & Herring Dry and the results have been amazing. From improved coats to boosts in vitality these products have worked magic for our 1 year old all the way up to our 15 year old, plus not having to worry about the recent scare of harmful ingredients, I can not recommend this line of products enough!

I am pleased to say I have finally found a cat food that I can honestly give the high praise it deserves. I recently saved the life of a kitten that was about to perish. She was very thin, her coat was dull, and had a few medical conditions. I wanted to feed her something wonderful to regain her strength and beauty, and California Natural was it. She now has a shiny black coat, has gained weight, has more energy and received a clean bill of health from the Vet. She is now more lovely than I ever thought she would be. Thank you, California Natural!

With all the SCARY ingredients in most pet foods, it's reassuring to know that California Natural is indeed natural. The ingredients come from U.S. sourcees, and the limitied ingredients make it a good choice for cats who have allergies.
Since I live in a small town with limited product availability, I really appreciate the availability on line. My cats don't eat anything else.

After searching multiple products, this one makes the grade.It is exceptional in the development of kittens. When using, my kits were double the size of other breeders. Plus, it contains No Egg, which is a hard find. Cats are carnivours not dairy eaters.

I have changed dry cat food frequently due to the recent pet food poisoning. When I found California Natural, I knew my changing days were over. Single source of protein and single source of carbohydrate makes this a safe and easy to digest food. Best thing is, all my cats liked it right away, no mixing with the old food necessary.

I seem to have two cats sensitive to fish and grains. It is hard to find food, even a "natural" food, w/o these two ingredients. My boys really like the taste of this food and it appears to agree with them. We are very pleased. This is pricey food but well worth it.
