My cat licks her belly and feet bloody, and gets abcesses, scabs and open sores on her head- all tested to be allergy related. I've tried many, many commercial foods, and even raw food. Natural Balance Venison and Pea was the ONLY brand I've ever found that allows her skin to get 100% back to normal. Her personality changes, too- she's a 12 year old cat and you can just tell she feels better on this food.
Since the recall all her old symptoms are back and we are very anxious for NB V&P to come back on the market!!!

I spent over [$] on treatment for my cat who had been itching, licking, and scabbing for months. Every Vet tried to treat him for something different than a food allergy and nothing worked! Finally, I gave up and started researching the internet for any type of non-prescription hypoallergenic cat food and I came accross the Natural Balance Venison and Green Pea Diet. After all the money I had spent for treatment that wasn't working, I figured I might as well try the least expensive route and change his food. This food by Natural Balance had several great reviews from people who were using it for their pets allergies. Dogs and cats. Although it is not a Hypo-allergenic diet (meaning it does not contain hydrolized protiens and such) it still worked! Before you spend [$]on a bag of prescription food, try the [$]bag of Natural Balance Green Pea and Venison. If you have a pet that is constantly itching, licking, balding, and/or scabbing... TRY THIS! My cat now has a full coat of healthy fur and has gained all of his weight back! He looks great and is back to being himself again! THANK YOU NATURAL BALANCE! IT IS A MIRACLE!!!

Since the introduction of this food to our 11 year cat, the change in her was almost immediate and very dramatic. She is truely a new kitty. Her coat improved (soft and silky), she is eating less, has lost weight and seems more satisfied. She has a lot of kitten energy and is much happier. It has been a month on the new food and so far there has not been an allergic outbreak. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Since feeding her the Natural Balance brand food I have noticed many changes. The quantity of food she's eating is less, and because of this she has lost the extra weight. Her physical appearance is much leaner, her coat is shiny, and she's satisified. Feeding our pets a "real quality" food with NO FILLERS makes perfect sense.

I was owned by an incredibly allergic cat who could tolerate almost no commercially made foods due to severe soy bean allergy. I switched to Nature's Balance after my cat's health improved dramatically when I tried a sample bag of this cat food. In addition, rushing my cat to the vet during an acute asthma attack became a thing of the past. I heartily recommend this product to other cat owners.

May cat with IBS has trouble with food containing fish, and with chewing large kibble. This food is attractive enough for her to eat without wet food and is small enough for her to get down without trouble. No IBS trouble to report!
