We have an 11 year old cat that was diagnosed 4 years ago with kidney crystals which required surgery. Per our vet's suggestions, we put her on a special prescription diet which had to be purchased from the vet. I wanted to look for alternative healthy cat food that was stated for "kidney health" and found your company browsing on the web. She has been on your food for about a month and has been cleaning her plate every morning! She seems to really love the green pea combinations the most. I will definitely continue to purchase more food from your company.

Kali does not drink water and although we have a fountain and different types of dishes and bowls she still does not lap up water. Consequently we are always worrying about a UT infection. When we acquired her she had a BAD infection which took a long time to heal. This food has cranberry powder in it (good for UT infections) and we mix the wet canned food with water so it is soupy. She loves it and laps it up. I feel good because it is all natural. She has been well since we started to feed this to her and add lots of water to it.

My cats who are picky animals love it so much. I bought 3oz because I wasn't sure if they like it or not. But now I have to open 2 cans for them (2 cats) to satisfy them.
I may just suggest to have some pinto beans instead of peas that they like better. At least I know my cats love pinto versus green peas.

I switched to a grain-free food many years ago when I had one fat cat and one thin cat. The grain-free diet brought both to optimum weights. The fat cat slimmed up and the thin one started holding weight better.
I started using the Duck and Pea cat food when my senior (17-year-old short hair) developed digestive troubles. My vet suggested that it could be allergy related, so I began looking for a canned food that wouldn't upset my cat's system. The Duck and Green Pea formula did the trick!
Since it is easier to feed everyone the same thing, all my cats now get the Duck and Green Pea formula. I just wish it was marketed in a larger can, making it easier for multi-cat households like mine!

I have three cats who all eat Natural Balance foods. Because my boy cat has either a sensitive stomach or allergies, I feed them the Green Pea and Venison canned food primarily. This keeps his stomach calm and has helped with litter box stinkiness.
All three cats like and do well on this food. Since NB now has added Duck, Chicken and Salmon to their Green Pea and __ line, I've tried those as well. My cats do not like the Duck as much as the others. They tear into one can but if I feed it twice in a row they don't dig in. The Chicken and Salmon are both big hits, however.

One of my cats (female) is very finicky when it comes to wet foods, but she will eat the Green Pea and Duck formula. And I can feel good about feeding it to her. Already I'm seeing a reduction in her allergy symptoms. The other cat (male) won't touch it, though that's not necessarily a bad thing in my home. She finally can eat something without worrying that he'll push her out of the way.

Thought I should get my picky cat off of her unhealthy store bought food and tried this. She absolutely LOVES it so far; I bought a variety of flavors to see which one she likes, and she loves all of them. Very happy with this food, and feel better that she will be healthier.

Our older male Abby will eat this "almost" always without issue. He is a chicken lover- and if we are careful and mix this with other varieties he is happy. He is fed canned food twice per day- and has dry kibble to nibble on anytime. As long as we mix it up--this brand maintains a healthy, balanced meal. While older and indoor only- he has his best friend- our mini Schnauzer- to play with and keeps very active.

My cat is basically allergic to everything found in most cat foods. He tolerates the venison very well. After he eats it, he always looks at me wanting more! Although it has a bit of an intense smell when I open the can, I've pretty much gotten used to it; and it's so worth it!

I was very skeptical that my kitten would like Venison and green pea, especially once I read all the ingredients like flax. She love this food more than anything else I have given her. I have tried A LOT of different natural foods and this seems to be the best for her tummy as well. She even chooses it over fish! The only thing I have noticed is that each batch is a little different, and one of the batches she didn't like (when she usually licks the bowl).

We wanted a soft food for our older cat that had USDA approved meat with no by-products. The fact that it has cranberry powder was an extra plus for us as our cat has frequent / reoccuring urinary trac infections. I wish I could say changing her diet from dry food to this canned food has helped w/her UTI's, but unfortunately it hasn't. (But neither did the canned food we use to use that the Vet recommended.)

I am overwhelmed by the fact that this line of wet natural food has stopped my cat from leaving hairballs on the carpet for me each day. Finally, something that is all natural and aids in my cat's digestion.

MY cat sits in front of the refrigerator waiting to be fed. He likes it!
I got a kitten about 6 months ago and fed him dry food mostly untill today, when i found out how bad that was for him. I quickly went to a local pet store that has a great veriaty of healthy canned foods. I bought 4 cans(indoor cat formula, and ultra formula) just to try them out and see if he'd like it. So far one can is already gone, and he is asking for more. The best part about this food is that it actually has a taste to it and you can feed it to a kitten as well as an adolt cat. I would recomend it!!!!!

My kitty loves this wet food and I feel great about feeding it to her. The only con is that she makes a mess of it. Picks up a big piece and puts it on the floor to eat it. Silly kitty!

My cat loves this. I usually buy a "premium" brand from the pet store but sometimes he would vomit after eating it or if I changed flavors. Not with Natural Balance. He's usually satisfied and happy.

My 19 & 17 yr old cats have been exclusively on this food a year. Their fur is shiny and healthy. The food is easy to digest. The 19yr had problems vomiting, had lost weight & her coat looked aweful - now she looks 5 yrs younger due to her shiny coat, additional weight, and not vomiting. Her activity level has increased as well. Additionally, she is very finicky. The many flavors give her variety so she is not tired of the food after a year! Currently her favorites are ocean fish & duck/green pea.

My 18-yr.-old Mick has food sensitivities and can eat only alternative protein sources. The usual venison or duck canned cat foods cost twice as much and contain by-products. So when we found Natural Balance, we were so excited! He just loves the stuff...

My cat loves the indoor formula the best. She used to be on a prescription food for weight, but I switched her 3 weeks ago to the indoor formula type. She took to it right away. She has more energy, her coat improved and she has stopped asking for snacks all day. She has even lost weight. I have recommended this to all my friends who have cats.

We have 3 cats, varying in age. We try to rotate & feed them a variety of canned food (usually Natural Balance) so they won't get "stuck" on just one or two flavors, but this one is definitely their favorite. Whenever we serve this one, all 3 of them DEVOUR it!

My cat has had chronic UTI. I was looking for a healthy food hoping a change of diet would help her. I also feed her herbs/UTI medications which I found on the Only Natural Pet Store web site. She loves this food. I add lots of water since she doesn't drink water.She is now well, no UTI in a while.

One of my kitties has food sensitivities and absolutely loves the Venison and Peas formula! Both he and my younger kitten eat it with relish. Definitely has improved his digestion. Would highly recommend it.

We originally tried this product to help with our cat's IBD. Everything we read suggested that a single-protein, single-carb, grain-free food was best for cats with her disease. She is also on an antibiotic and takes Metamucil with every meal, so I can't say for sure if its the food that helped, but at the VERY least, she likes the taste very much and it disguises the bitter taste of the antibiotic really well. Her IBD is at least under control for now.

Being a Healthnut, I treat my cat with the same quality of care in everything! Immediately upon adopting her as a 4-1/2 month old Kitten, I started her on Natural Balance wet and dry. She immediately took to it! (She had previously only been fed dry food at the Humane Society). She loves all the flavors! Every-other can I feed her is SALMON because that is the healthiest food for cats due to the omega-3 fatty acids. Natural Balance is truly a very-healthy and tasty product.

After loosing my two beautiful cats of only 11 short years to Kidney failure and the other to Diabetes&hyper thyroid my pain though so great showed me my ignorance was even greater. I began after the fact of learning what was the best and what could have been better for them. Learning about the terrible by-products, corn meal and all the other horrible things I fed them. Dry Iams.... I changed many ways and learned the hardest lessons. I now have become much more informed and make choices that knowing are good for my newest 3, Blackwell, Independence and Dolly. Their fur is BEAUTIFUL, they have lots of energy and they absolutely love to eat it. I have tried several other natural and organic foods but this they've let me know they want. Their favorite is the salmon, but tonight I've purchased the Duck and the Venison because all the others have been a hit with them. The pain from the loss still lingers greatly but I know this time I'm doing things right for the companions I know I won't be able to live without evntually. I can't even dream of ever going back. I wish I would have known how terrible so many of the foods that are out there on the market. If so many people knew or cared there would not be. I will tell everyone I know and talk with them about the differences and recommend this product. Absolutely, Thank you,

The Ultra Formula by Natural Balance was rated #1 on [...] re: Best canned cat food. For overall natural ingredients.So then I found this website and purchased a case! This catfood does NOT have a bad smell at all and my kitten's bowel movements have been consistant and regular so I'm happy all around!

My cats are all the indoor variety who are great eaters and large cats. They really like the Natural Balance Indoor formula taste. I particularly like the fact that a small serving satisfies each one of them. I feel that it is economical because of that reason. I will be buying it for a long time to come and recommend it to others, particularly for those with multiple cats.

The vet said that this is a great food to be giving our two cats (adults, indoor). I give them 1/4 can every day, as a good source of protein, and they love this food!

She really likes this brand. She is such a fussy eater. We have tried dozens of different brands and NatBal and the Tiki Cat food brand are the only two she will eat...The tuna and shrimp is what she loves. I recommend it highly.

I would recommend natural balance for your indoor cats. My female cat loves it and eats it all up all the time. She is not fussy. Plus she had a weight problem and now she is looking much healthier and leaner by eating natural balance.
My male cat on the other hand loves this food the day the can is open. If I save half the can for the next day my male cat will not eat it. He only likes it when it is fresh out of the can.

I had a nightmarish and chaotic move that upset my life and didn't smooth out for seven years. I had to change vets & the cat food my 3 cats ate was taken off the market! The cats suffered from the move as did I and during the seven years two of them died, one of colon cancer. Seeing a Holistic Vet I learned of this food and started using it with the remaining very upset, very finicky brother of the cat who died. I'd already been instructed by the Regular Vet to add psyllium husks to the his food to normalize his stools--he likes the food (would never admit to loving it), running out is Hell for us both. Now I have a new kitty and he seems to like the dry formula even better than the wet which is good because the psyllium is too much for him--tough balance to strike. I cannot say whether this food is the best on earth or not and frankly I don't care--in desperation and for 5+ years I tried every single brand of high-end cat food available at my high-end pet store and on the internet including foods that other owners' finicky cats would eat and cannot tell you how much money I wasted & how many cases worth I ended up giving away. I'm grateful to have a food they like and that I feel is very good and I'm grateful not to be worrying & wasting my money on what they can't or won't eat. Finally, there is consistency and peace at the kitty-table and relief actually shows in remaining brother cat's eyes...

Switching to all natural pet food for my senior cat has improved her health. Oh sure! she's 150 in our years, so I'm not going to pretend she's still climbing curtains and hopping on top of the fridge, but her coat has improved, she vomits less and surprisingly her urine has been clean the last 2 checks - pretty impressive since she had a cronic UTI for 3 years. I don't know if the food had anything to do with that but it probably contributed.

Just started my 18yr and 16yr old cats on it. They love it! They lick the dish clean. My cats are very picky. So far have tried salmon and the tuna/shrimp flavors. I hope it helps them with digestion and improves their coat. However, it is too soon to tell with coat - but they are finding it easy to digest (than other canned food).

My cats are picky and it was hard to find a food they both like--this is it. My older cat gulps down the salmon when he gets it, and they both like the other fish flavors too. The ingredients are excellent with no byproducts. It's great to be able to give your pets great food that you know is good for them!

Decided to add canned food to our 4 cats diets for fear of them not getting enough water in their diet. They love this food! Every variety we have tried has been a hit. They seem to love the salmon the most so, that is what they get every day. I have one calico who had skin problems. After feeding her this food, her dry flaky skin cleared up.

I have two cats. When my female (Delilah) was diagnosed with diabetes my veternarian took a let's try a new food and exercise approach to treat it before we put her on insulin. I researched foods and decided to try Natural Balance. Both my cats devoured it the moment I gave it to them. Delilah's blood sugar decreased and she is no longer a candidate for insulin. Samson & Delilah's coats are beautiful. I cannot say enough about this food.

I recently adopted a one-yr old cat from a no-kill center. He was skinny, a finiky eater with digestive problems. I researched cat diets on the internet and discovered that most of the leading popular cat foods contain meat by-products, fillers, grains, cereals, fancy (unecessary) vegetables and artificial flavors and colors. Even some of the so-called natural products contained unecessary (and maybe harmful) vegetables, grains and fillers. Natural Balance is mostly high-quality meat, with minimal grains (brown rice) and few vegetables to provide vitamins and some fiber. The rest of the ingredients are vitamins and minerals necessary for a feline diet. Simple and pure. My cat loves the canned food and begs for it and gobbles it up! He is at a good weight now and has a shiny coat and absolutely no digestive problems. Natural Balance strives to duplicate a cat's natural diet and provides everything a cat needs to be healthy, energetic and strong.
