My two cats love it! One is 8 yrs old and the other is 11 yrs old. Watch out for expiration date on bag (as this product has no preservatives)
I keep mine on refrigerator door to extend life of the product.

I started using this product around the time of the pet food contamination scare. That incident really called my attention to quality control in cat food.
I wonder if there's a way to reduce the price though...it's quite expensive for two cats.

Same as Wyson (to my cats) - it is a cruelty-free product. However for one reason or another my three cats are not go nuts about it.

Unlike the wet canned food by the same name,
the dry food was a hit from day one !
i think ANY cat would love this product !!

How exciting to open a bag of cat food and it actually smells like real fish! My cat loves it!!

If my kitty had no health issues, she'd definitely be on this food; she likes it and I have enormous respect for the Newmans and their products. But my kitty has inflammatory bowel syndrome. I tried literally everything else for her (several Science Diets, prednisolone,worming, antibiotics), and she just got much worse - very quickly. At that point, I had my vet's blessing to try Newman's; it has chicken, but kitty won't touch venison, duck, or rabbit, and we were hoping her allergy was to wheat gluten. I found Newmans made a HUGE difference in how often she vomits, but it also caused very long,large stools that may've triggered intestinal bleeding (as did Science Diet before it). So I'm switching her again, this time to California Naturals Dry with herring and sweet potato, so she'll have a different protein source - and it's also gluten-free. She loves the CA Natural's taste, and it is controlling the vomitting very well without causing bowel bleeding. She's so much better already that for the first time in a year, I've been able to decrease her prednisolone from 1/2 tablet twice a day to 1/2 tablet every three days. The whole secret to switching foods is to do it SLOWLY. No matter how high quality the new food is, increase the kibbles very, very gradually, especially if your kitty has a tummy problem! Even a month or more isn't too long. Let your kitty tell you when she's ready for more of the new food by observing her comfort level and watching for loose stools or diarrhea.

My cat really loves this product. They're small bite sized morsels that my cat can eat easily. She can't wait to gobble it up.

Since the pet food recall, we have been searching for a safe, organic and locally made pet foods. This particular brand from Newman's met all the criteria. Since we are already a fan of Newman's other food products, we decided to give this one a try. Well, our cats took to it right away! Plus there's an added bonus - the cat litter actually smells better! What more can you ask for?

Since the pet food recall, we have been struggling to find a safe, natural, organic and locally made food... In other words, a company that does not outsource its goods to foreign countries. We are big fans of Newman's products already and this particular senior cat formula was the perfect choice. Our cats took to it right away and there was an unexpected bonus: the kitty litter definitely smells better! What more can you ask for? Worth every penny.

I have recommended this food to friends and family. My Cat is 17 yrs young on this food. She has lot of pep and can't wait for her meals.

Just look at the nutrition panel and ingredients, senior cats have lots of requirements, and this one fits just right for my 2.
