I have finally found a product I feel SAFE in feeding my cats. My picky 15 year old now dives into her breakfast and dinner with a zest that I had given up on ever seeing again. She LOVES the Chicken and Salmon, but won't eat the Turkey varieties. I've spent a fortune on experimentation in making my own food, buying vitamins/minerals, and trying different brands that claim to be made with healthy (aka non-toxic) ingredients. When you open the can, it smells good enough to eat yourself! This food is worth every penney.

My girl's coat has improved, considerably. No longer flakey. The consistency (smooth) is a definate requirement for my cat. AND, the Turkey and Vegetable contains no fish. I'd love to see other varieties without fish by Newman's Own. With my cat's allergies, that's a definate no-no. It's so healthy for her. At the age of ten, she acts like a kitten. I highly recommend this one!

This seems to be a great food! Our older indoor cat really likes the product!
I have used this for outdoor cats too as it really improves the quality of their coat. They prefer being outdoors and, by allowing them that opportunity, I worry about their overall health without the balance of a good natural source of nutrients. Newman's Own! Try it for your cat!

My cat is very picky in her food choices. The smooth consistency of the Turkey and Vegetables was a real plus. She isn't inclined to eat the chunkier varieties in any food. There is NO offending aroma to this food, which I found amazing. Also, as my cat has allergies, there is no fish in this. She really likes it and I know she is getting all the nutrients to make her healthy. I can't recommend this food highly enough!

My girl is very particular about her food. She also has allergies to fish and Newman's Own Turkey Vegetable is her food of choice! Newman's seems to have the creamier texture, which some cats prefer over the chunkier food. When you open the can, you are not met with an unpleasant odor. It looks and smells like something YOU would eat. What a change that is! It's a healthy, nourishing food. I couldn't recommend this food more highly!

I love what Newman's Own is doing with their charity-linked organic food lines (human and pet) but unfortunately, neither of my two cats would eat this wet food--and we tried several flavors. As if two flat (and repeated) refusals weren't enough, we also tried to feed this food to a stray we recently adopted (poor thing was so starved he was skin and bones). Guess what -- even HE refused to eat the Newman's! I'm glad other folks are having good luck with this brand, but we won't be buying any more of it.

My four kitties love their night-time din-din snack and this one is one of their favourites. Providing the company decides to leave the formula alone my oldest cat, Montana, will eat it to his hearts' content.

I've been feeding this to my neutered indoor cat for 6 weeks now. He absolutely loves it, his eyes are brighter, and his coat is starting to get softer and shinier. I love that the chicken is organic. This food is a little pricey, but I think it's worth it.

My 12 year old feline cancer patient has suddenly rejected his veterinarian supplied food. If he won't eat I can't get his pills into him. Last night I tried the Newmans canned turkey and he went crazy for it. He ate all of the food (containing the crushed medication) and then begged for more.

I feel good that my kitties are eating something organic and good for them, and that they really enjoy it. They didn't like it before, I think they have improved the flavor, it smells good!

My cats age 1-7 love this food,and I feel great about feeding it to them. I have also sent some to my Dad, who has a special need (14yr old) cat that was a "baby-making stray" he caught and had spayed at a very young age-been living happily ever after,and she loves the food too.

I tried Newman's Own dry and wet food for the first time last night. I mixed 1/2 old dry food with 1/2 new dry food as recommended. The cats pushed the old dry food out of the dish and ate Newman's own instantly. They also gobbled up the wet food and chased me looking for more. This is a wonderful discovery and much healthier for them!

mixed in with the new organic Newman's at first...
they are so picky! But they did eventually get
use to eating the HEALTHIER stuff !

This canned food converted our very picky eater (12-year-old long-haired tabby) from a dry food only guy to one who tries to get me up in the morning so I can open the can. He still snacks on dry food a little, but Newman's Own canned cat food has him eating more and obviously liking it more. It, along with the vitamins we have started him on, have made him more alert and helped him regain some of the glamorous shine of coat and eyes that he had begun to lose.

After all three of my cats were affected by the recalled pet food, I tried a home diet; however, my cats did not comply! They didn't eat anything I made. This was the next best thing to a home diet I could find. Although it's a bit more expensive, there is a piece of mind with Newman's Own. I hope contamination will not be an issue for us again!

I am using Newman's organic human products for quite some time and just recently switched my cats to the canned and dry food. I didn't even have to gradually introduce the food. They dove right in. There is an improvement in their coat. It is shiny and looks very healthy. The cats also seem to be more alert and playful. The catfood is definitely a kepper.

My cats like the chicken with salmon and the chicken with rice the best. It is more expensive then some of the non-organic cat foods but my cats need less of this to fill them up-therefore I use less. [...] Buying by the case helps keep costs down.

Two years ago our 12 year old cat was diagnoised with Kidney failure and we were told to switch her to a KD food and give her daily injections of water and that she only had 6-12 months to live. We did some research and found Newmans Own Organic food. Since she has switched food she is more frisky that ever. Her coat has improved and she just loves the food. She will come running when she hers the can open! Also we have been into the vets office and they stated that her kidney function has improved (something they have never seen before). She has not had any problems with her kidneys since we switched her diet. She also eats the dry Newmans Own Organic cat food and loves that too!

Great stuff. I have 3 very spoiled cornish rex who had been living on human salmon, tuna, mackerel, and baby food since the recall. They loved this cat food, which smells like fresh cooked meat, not rancid and funky smelling like grocery store brands and Iams. Newman's own has a new customer. If you love your cats too, this is worth the money.
