I am trying different manufacturer's of the frozen raw foods. My cat likes this one. His coat is soft and shiny and he is not having digestive issues anymore. When i used this with dry food he had diarrhea all the time. it may have been the dry food i chose or this particular combination. i say that because there was never an issue with other frozen foods i tried and the dry food i was using.
We returned from Australia in '07 with a cat that seems to be allergic to most dry and wet foods. He was on Roo (kangaroo) meat in Oz - no antibotics, etc. His food allergies immediately resurfaced when he landed here, until I discovered Primal Raw Cat Food. He, and his 18 1/2 year old sister, get the Chicken/Salmon nuggets along with an organic dry food; and they are both thriving.

We show abyssinians in CFA and this really puts muscle on our cats I love the ease of use since you can thaw out as much as you need cats love it.
My 2 cats (kitten & adult) both have choosen this as their hands-down favorite. In fact, they will not eat anything else.

My 3 indoor cats have been on Primal for over a year. All of the health issues we had been struggling with went away - Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Herpes (managed with Lysine too), allergies, chronic ear infections, hairballs. My boys are lean and active with beautiful coats. They shed much less and there is no odor coming from the litterbox. These are the happiest, healthiest cats I've ever seen. Primal is easy to use and worth every penny!!

My 2 indoor cats have owned me for 12 years. I've fed them everything under the sun. They continued to remain slightly overweight, experience hairballs, chin acne, and once even a severe urinary tract infection. One of my cats used to lick her belly constantly until all of the fur was gone, (a sign of allergy or pain). I was so worried! The vets' recommendations weren't helping. Some months ago, I switched them to Primal brand raw cat food. Not only do they love the taste, but all of their medical issues have disappeared! The fur on my cat's stomach has returned and she no longer licks it. My cats have energy. They no longer have a hairball issue. I can't believe it took me 12 years to realize the tremendous benefits of a healthy raw food diet. Just like humans' food; we shouldn't eat such little protein and so much grain...cats' diets are the same way.
Primal cleared up my cat's irritable bowels within a couple of meals...his stools became firm and healthy. Also, the grain free diet has helped him become symptom free from his herpes (rarely congested since abandoning any form of grain in the diet). My other two cats love Primal, too...if I put out any kind of canned food next to the Primal, they go for the Primal.
Very good formula,I rotate this with Natures Variety raw food.

My 2 Sister-Cats are very finicky. Intially, I had to mix it with a canned food they loved. Gradually I decreased the canned food amount and worked up to just the raw food. And now they snarf it up. I have always known that in nature, they would be eating food raw but as I was thinking about making the food myself, I found this far more convenient option. It arrives in perfect meal portions. All I do is thaw it and serve it up.
Primal is one of the finest raw food products out there for us animal nuts who are striving for the best health possible for our pets. With my boys being homeopathic cats, Primal has simplified their daily diet so that I can remain active and travel without the fear and guilt of having to compromise their raw diet. Thank you!
My cats love this stuff!

I decided to try this because my cat needs to lose weight and she's been shedding like crazy and has dandruff. My vet recommened feeding her more wet food since it has less carbohydrates and grains than dry food. When I saw Primal in a pet food store the people there told me that it could work well for weight loss and for my cat's dandruff and shedding. I decided to get a sample pack for her and one for my dog as well. I was a bit worried that my cat might not take to it right away, since cats tend to be finicky, but she licked her plate clean the first time she tried it and continues to love it. It actually took my dog a while to get her use to it, but the cat loved it. Anyway, she's lost a pound since she started eating it (about a month ago) and her dandruff is starting to dissappear. She's still shedding, but it's pretty hot this summer, so that might be it. The only down side is the price, but then again, it's a very good food.
