After the pet food scare in 2007, I tried very hard to get my cats off of their gluten-rich diets. I tried every natural cat food I could find, but they just wouldn't eat it...until I found Solid Gold Tuna. I tell you, this stuff is like catnip! They just can't get enough of it! I highly recommend it for finicky cats! I do break up the clumps with a fork before feeding them, but it's well worth the effort and the money to see my cats eating again.

My vet suggested to no longer feed my 3 cats dry food because it is loaded with fat and I have one boy weighing 15 lbs. I tried Solid Gold Tuna and they all LOVED it. There is enough in one can to split up among 3 for each feeding twice a day. They all seem satisfied until the next feeding. The only drawback is that I have to break up the tuna chunks for them.

My cat loves this. She's not finicky, and will eat most things, but this and Prowl are her number one favorites so far. It's stinky tuna, but it has a great chunky texture. If your cat is like my sister's, and won't eat ground food, then try this!

I decided to try this food after unsuccessfully looking for a canned food that my finicky kitty will eat. I had read about this brand and found positive reviews from other cat owners. As soon as I opened the can, I was impressed with the smell of the food (smells good enough for me to eat) and the way it looks (looks like quality tuna was used to make this). I immediately gave some to my finicky kitty to see if she would eat it. So far, she ate this food better than any other she has been given in the past; I have tried other well-known, highly touted foods, but she just turned away without a nibble. This is the first food she actually seemed to enjoy and even though she does not eat a lot, she did eat most of the portion I gave her, which is an accomplishment. I will definitely be buying more, regardless of the cost (the can I bought cost [$], but is well worth it if the food is eaten and not wasted). I actually think she was looking for more this morning, so I highly recommend this, especially for your most finicky eaters!

My cats run when they see me get the can out of the pantry. Even my dry food eater will dine on this tasty stuff. I feed as a treat occasionally when they are getting tired of the dry or when they need to calm down before going to bed.

I've fed my cats Solid Gold Blended Tuna on a regular, but not "all the time" basis for years. They love it like nothing else. One of my cats had surgery last summer which developed into a long recovery. Solid Gold was the only thing she'd eat. I really believe I would have lost her without it. Yes, it's expensive, but it's the only tuna product I'll feed my cats. You'll be amazed at the quality.
